Hi friends! I have a little ivy plant that has been declining ever since I got it. I can’t figure out exactly what the problem is but the leaves have been getting dry and dead no matter what I do differently. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi everyone, My cat chewed up the leaves of my $ tree, unfortunately it has been declining since. I am not sure what to do anymore. The bottom roots are getting soggy. And I just watered it today based on ā€œplantas recommendationā€ any help would be appreciated. It was coming back to life before my cat chewed the leafs again. Sigh. He finally has stopped chewing the plant now that I added Chili powder to it but the plant seems to be doing worst. I was told to propagate it and put it in water but also to just repot it in new soil that is dry. Don’t want my tree to die🫠. I added pictures of the roots.

It’s been great watching my pothos grow into this beauty but in the last few days, this single leaf has been turning yellow. Should I be concerned? Everything else seems fine - I water when the top soil dries out and it’s been in the same spot since last year. I’ve not had any other issues since I potted it 7 months ago. Thanks for your comments!

My elephant ear (giant taro) collapsed this morning. It looked beautiful and tall yesterday. What do you think is the issue? Should I repot it in a bigger pot? I was thinking of splitting into three anyway. Let me know what you think!

Also i bought it already in a self watering pot which im not the biggest fan of so i watered it from the top for its first watering. I added a picture of it from when i first got it (the last pic) also it’s my first time with this plant !! I had to cut a leaf off bc it turned yellow šŸ˜•

Please help! Got this bonsai as a christmas present this year (i have never looked after one before), looked beautiful with many dark green leaves. Unfortunately over the last 2 months it has taken a turn for the worst, has dropped 3/4 of its leaves and obviously isn’t well. Watering with the bottom whole for 20 mins when plants advises me too, has plenty of indirect sunlight. Did use some liquid bonsai food on it (for about 2 months when planta told me to) by adding it to the water in the correct amount as advised by the packaging, stopped using when it started dropping leaves. My cousin also got the same bonsai tree for christmas this year and that one is flourishing in her cloakroom (toilet room). Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! I got this clipping and was advised to put it straight into dirt. It looks like near the root it’s shrinking. Wondering if I could save it by cutting above the shrinking area and to start over with developing a root system?

Prissy is beginning to have burnt tips on quite a few of her leaves. I’d appreciate any suggestions anyone may have to help her feel better. She’s a sweet girl.

This is Aslan. He’s a ~30 year old jade plant that is a cutting from my abuela’s giant jade plant. As you can see he is in a tomato can, which lacks drainage. It was originally a temporary pot after my dad accidentally knocked the original pot over and broke it, but Aslan has seemed to quite like the can despite the lack of drainage for a few years now, and grown more than it has in years. I’ve been told by my aunt it seems Aslan is ā€œstretchingā€ and should be repotted or beheaded and propogated, but I’m absolutely terrified to do either as this plant was the last one of my abuela’s she cut for anyone, and she has since passed on. I really don’t wanna kill this one. He’s very dear to me. If anyone can offer any advice on repotting a jade this old, you have no idea how grateful I’d be.

Hi there! I was told this is a Aglanemea variegated Pearl and I’m VERY new to this plant. I put it on my windowsill and only watered it a bit. I’ve only had it for about two weeks and it’s started yellowing on the new leaves so I’m a bit worried I’m doing something wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also if that’s not what type of plant this is PLEASE let me know! 😰

Hi Everyone šŸ‘‹ I have a Meyer Lemon tree that I bought from a nursery a couple weeks ago. When I first got it, it seemed like the soil was holding water really well (it is currently still in the nursery pot). However, now it feels like it is completely dry within a couple of hours. I was told to water it twice a week. So here are my questions - 1.) should I repot it into a similar size pot? Maybe a clay pot? Or ceramic? Please note - I live in Kansas and we have extremely harsh winds. I want it to be in a pot so I can take it in if need be! I also want to be able to keep it alive during winter. 2.) If I do repot it, what soil should I use? 3.) How often am I really suppose to be watering it? I feel like the soil it is in now, it to ā€œmulch likeā€ so maybe that is what it keeps drying out so fast? Thanks in advance!!

Hey everyone! I have a pilea libanensis aquamarine (silver sprinkles) and it’s losing what seems like a decent amount of leaves. It’s still looking pretty full but the leaves on it also look like they’re yellowing. Any thoughts about what it could be? *it sits in front of a south facing window that’s covered with sheer curtains and I try to water when it’s top few inches of soil is feeling dry.

Fiddle leaf fig just popped out a new leaf, but it has a bunch of red and brown spots :( I’ve seen a bit of spider mites so I’ve been spraying it with captain jack’s deadbug spray every other week. Should I start spraying it more often or try something else?

The stem on my plant isn’t green anymore. is this bad? the rest of my plant seems perfectly healthy. it’s probably due for a repotting, but in the two years i’ve had it, it still produces healthy green leaves and its never been sick and hasn’t ever had bugs. the stem stopped being green a long time ago(like a year or so) but i thought id ask for some feedback as to what it could mean
