Hi guys I just got a Monstera and it was doing great but recently noticed this part on a newer leaf. Almost looks burnt, but itās been growing in surface area on the leaf and part of the stem. Last pic is what it looked like on Saturday. Other pics are from today. Rest of the plant looks very healthy!! Soil is dry at the top currently but still a little moist about an inch down. It sits in front of my patio door and gets a lot of indirect sunlight with about an hour of direct sunlight later in the day. Iāve been misting as the app advises. The plant as a whole looks healthy except for this one section and Iām scared of how fast itās spreading š© is there something I can try? Should I try to remove the affected stem before it spreads?? Any advice would be appreciated!! š„² SOS

I'm a little concerned about my pothos. It seems to have got very droopy. But on the other hand it is growing a new leaf so it can't be too unhappy?
So this plant was very dry so I was giving it a thorough soak in some water for a few minutes when SO MANY long white tiny bugs were swimming around in the wateršš the health of this plant hasnāt been great for a long time, but I donāt see any signs of pests on the leaves. Please tell me this is what fungus gnat larvae look like and these arenāt thrips. Also in Canada we donāt have access to systemic granules. Not opposed to chucking the plant to save my collection Ps this same plant had mealy bugs not that long ago.
Iāve taken over this rubber plant and had it for the past year. The first ten months with us it was in our conservatory where it was absolutely fine, producing new leaves. I then noticed all the leaves down one side are really brown (the side facing the sun, possibly scorched? Although itās been in direct sun before). Iām watering it as per this appās instructions as I know it doesnāt take much water. Is there any saving it? The leaves on the other side and at the top are fine but one side looking very sad. Have moved it out of the conservatory for the time being.
Which pests are these on the undersides of the leaves?
Any idea what this white stringy stuff could be on my rubber tree plant? Mealybugs?
Is this due to shock from repotting or could there be something else that may be going on? I repotted my pothos about a week ago after purchasing it because it had 5 plants in one small pot. Now the leaves are drooping as if its thirsty.
Hi I purchased a Venus fly trap today and repotted in a 50/50 perlite and peat moss mix and watered with distilled water. Any tips to make this guy a bit happier/healthier? It appears the leaves are all droopy/laying down after repotting. First is when purchased and second is after repotting. Thanks in advance š
Hello! Does anyone know whatās going on with my plant? Sheās been growing quite a lot but the colors are still so off. I watered her yesterday.
Hi all, I have a new little red Robin, it's still in its nursery pot waiting to be planted in the big bed, the last week though it's started dying and I'm not sure why.. AFAIK it's already hardy for outdoor temps, we've had mixed sunshine and showers, the soil isn't dry but not sopping wet either and its been sat in a wind sheltered part sun spot of the garden... any help would be appreciated
Hey everyone! Any tips on why my dragon plant/tree is browning/yellow?š¢ itās in a dark corner of my room, but Iāve had it since June and it was loving it there!
Hi everyone! I am fairly new to being a Plant Mom , loving it and this app has helped me to keep them alive for so long. My snake plant looks unhappy. My guesses are I need to repot because thereās quite a few baby plants popping up in here OR it has had too much sun. What do you think? Both? I may try to move it out of direct sun for a bit. I think its new location was too bright.
Usually Iām pretty good at deducing or looking up whatās wrong with my plants, but this time Iām stumped. Iām unsure why my marble pothos is browning on the leaves as well as the stem. On the leaves, most of the browning is on the white portions. When the stem browns, it begins to spread up the section and kills it, it happened once before further down the stem so cut the section off so it wouldnāt spread. Since it came back despite me cutting the section off, I thought it might be root rot (despite the other pothos in the pot being fine). However, the roots have new growth and look completely healthy, if a little root bound. I also donāt fertilize very much, and donāt use any silica fertilizer despite it being a variegated plant (though I plan on getting some soon). Could this be whatās causing the plant to brown (again, since itās mostly on the variegated portions of the leaves)? Thereās also no pests that I can find either. Any thoughts on whatās happening, or what I should be searching to learn more about this issue would be greatly appreciated š Iād like to fully understand whatās going on before I try chopping up the vine to save at least part of the plant. Below Iāve provided images of the browning leaves, the blackening stem, and the plants roots
Hi plantie loves! My silver inch plant grows like a weed BUT the leaves near the top all dry up making her look really stringy while the leaves at the end are thriving. Do you have any ideas on why this is happening or tips on how to stop this?
Hey!! First time String Of Pearls owner herešŖ“! I got it a few months ago beautiful and long, but now the pearls are shriveling up towards the base š±šā¼ļø not sure if I'm over watering, under watering, too little sun or too cold (it's just starting to warm up where I live). Any and all advice on what to change/do to get her back to rocking would be appreciated.
What is this?! I had it on the bottom of some of my other plants - but is it bugs or plants- It kinda looks like spider eggs and mushrooms Iām lowkey freaking out but I also donāt wanna repot this massive plant (massive for me most of mine are tiny) It also kinda looks like mold???
Help! I got this String of Pearls plant about 3 weeks ago. I watered it and this is what happened :-( Any advice? Is it dead?
Anyone know why my Chinese evergreen leaving are curling? I use a liquid fertilizer and Iāve never missed a watering and I mist it often, I keep it by the window but not in direct sunlight, and thereās no pests as far as I can see! Iām not sure what Iām doing wrongš
Does anyone have a fertilizer that they recommend? I diagnosed a bunch of problems with my plant family here on the app and the number one recommendation from the app is that I need to start fertilizing!! Thank you in advance for your help!! Xx!
Olive tree yellowing! I took on a neighbours olive tree today and have noticed there are yellow leaves with black spots. I want to give it a good home and am not sure what the problem is? Google suggests too much water, not enough water or pests? How do I tell which it is and how to help? Any advice greatly appreciated āŗļø
