Help please, Stapelia.. no environment changes what so ever. No pests. Water when dry. Under light 12 hours daily since day 1. Has been in a mix of bonsai jacks gritty mix 80%, coco coir 10%, worm castings 10%. I've had this baby since July and just now over the last 2 weeks its been turning yellow. I took it out of the pot today to check roots, they're beautiful! Like I said, no changes since day 1. The yellow parts are just as firm as the green. What is going on??

Help! I rescued this corn plant from Lowe’s (was on their discounted rack and very sick) last summer. Since the we’ve been through nursing back to health to bugs a few times. Now I see these brown spots beginning a few different leaves and I’m not sure what it is and how to treat. I was spraying with neem, once that was gone I started with peppermint and water (read that worked) and finally started with a systemic granular mix for all sorts of insects. Anything else I can try???

I have a couple plants that I use a treatment on (Neem oil, systemic insecticide etc) Is there a way to set up a schedule when you need to treat again?

help! i moved 2 weeks ago and the movers accidentally took my mini monstera into the truck, with -15° F wind chills outside. i removed the dead/rotting stuff ASAP but she's still losing all her leaves - do i prop what's left of the stem? 😥

This is my water and pray section lol. Small pots WERE caladiums lol. Front big pot is a flame violet that died but shows signs of hope and the big pot in back was also a caladium. Caladiums are my nemesis apparently. Well accept for 1.

Hii! my ivy isn’t doing too well at the moment and i’m not sure as to why. i normally have her in an area with moderate sunlight, but not too much. i also bottom water her once a week, which is what’s recommended. i’m not too sure as to why she’s drooping so much as she grew quite a lot over december. should i chop those drooping leaves, or is there anything else i can do for her?

Bought this lemon button fern and I'm not great at taking care ferns. Anybody know what can help it get better? It clearly needs help, but I don't know what kind.

Hello everyone, this is my 4-year old legend of a fiddle leaf fig. It’s been getting brown bits on its new leaves recently, and I think it’s because I moved houses around 3 months ago. It might be in shock, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ☺️

A couple months ago I had repotted my croton. Apparently she went into shock and lost all her leaves. I’ve continued to water and mist as the app recommends. I actually trimmed back the dead branches a couple weeks ago. Now I’ve just been waiting for any sign of life, well this morning I noticed these little green buds on the stem!! Could be hope she’s coming back?!

A while ago I bought a gardenia not realizing it was infested with thrips. Not knowing how serious the situation was and having no experience with infestations, I bought some bug spray that gets rid of thrips and expected them to go away within a day or two, and put the gardenia next to my other plants; although I did separate it a few times because I noticed some of the thrips on its flowers and took it down to spray it again. Only last night I had realized how much of a pain these bugs can be and I’m panicking not knowing what to do. I checked my other plants and everything seems fine except for my new satin pothos plant. 😥 I’m seeing 2 white marks that don’t like the normal silver marks it has, and I found a leaf with some odd holes in it. I believe I have reached the maximum amount of photos for this post and will try to add my satin pothos photos in the comments. What are the steps and things I need to do to get rid of these bugs, and should I be worried about my other plants? 1st photo: Photo of what I believe is a thrip 2nd and 3rd photo: Possibly damage from thrips? 4th photo: plant spray I’m currently using

My mother of thousands leaves started turning brown and dying so I cut some and others fell off. Now it just looks kind of crazy. It is still growing new leaves but is there anything I can do to fix this?

Am I a silly Billy or are these little brown spots scale? Fiddle leaf fig purchased from Aldi for $15, I’ve never had scale before and I have too many plants to risk it spreading 😭😭 she’s been in quarantine for two weeks getting treatment every 3-6 days. I have not tried scrubbing them off, I don’t even wanna touch it I’m so grossed out by the thought of scale 🥴

Hey Planta fam, does anyone know what would be causing this calcification to grow on my pots and film on the soil?

I’ve got fungus gnats. I got the sticky traps and mosquito bits. How do I make the tea? How much do I water each plant? Thank you.

I have horrible news. My succulent has a disease. Do not know what it is. However, I haven’t tried anything to help it get better. I have not given the plant any food. I haven’t given any iodine or sodium.
