Is it possible the yellowing is due to too much light? The roots look fine, and are constantly growing. New growth comes out fine, the oldest leaf is always turning yellow. I can’t keep more than 3 leaves at a time. Growing normal and all that. It’s under a soltech grow light, and I think it’s possible it’s receiving too much light. There is zero burning on the leaves.

Hello everyone šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I went to repot my snake plant cuz it’s leaves were turning yellow. I thought it was pot bound. I took it out of the pot and the soil was completely wet/soaked. Now I’m thinking it was overwatering. Am I right? From now on I’m going to use my meter to be sure my babies need to be watered.

I'm trying to change the humidity settings in Planta. It's saying mine is normal, but it's not as we live in Las Vegas where it's low. I've tried talking to Planta and the "bot" is very poor. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi all šŸ‘‹šŸ¾šŸ‘‹šŸ¾ I need ANY help or advice for my poor money tree. A few weeks ago, I gave it a nice shower and left it out on the patio for a couple hours and then over night. I was receiving direct sunlight while outside. It was a bit wilted so I figured maybe it would come back once I moved it back in the house. But unfortunately, it’s just gotten worse. It’s been sunburned and this will be the first time I’m repotting it. I’m going to use a soil good for cactus, palm, and citrus which should also be good for succulents (at least that’s what the bag says). I’m not sure if I’ve waited too late or if she still has a chance. Can anyone suggest anything or maybe have some kind words? šŸ™ƒ HELP šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Hi, my Chinese money plant/Pilea has developed a yellow leaf with a big brown spot. Another one looks like it is headed that way too. It was in the kitchen which doesn’t really get any direct light, so I moved it to the side bedroom which is *almost* full sun. I’m not sure what is happening though. There are no visible pests, and I have only given it about 1/3 cup water since I got it bc the pot it’s in doesn’t have drainage. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Is this something I should be worried about? Like is a pest or fungus? Or something else?

Should I water this Caldium? I repotted it yesterday (after letting the roots air dry for a day) because it got overwatered. The soil is all the way dry everywhere.

Does anyone have an idea as to why my plants’ leaves are browning? Could it be lack of sunlight or fresh air? or over/ under watering? i always poke the soil to see if it needs water and then water them until the soil dosnt absorb the water as quickly. also both have drainage at bottom.

Does anyone know what is wrong with my fishbone plant? I got it off Etsy, it came as one plant but it’s obviously two different put in one pot. One is perfectly fine and healthy but the other isn’t. When I first got it I thought maybe the seller cut off brown tips, but now that I’ve had it a few months, the two new leaves the ā€œbadā€ side has put off are disfigured. It doesn’t have any pests. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you!

I recently bought a pink fittonia from my local Walmart and it hasn’t been looking how pictures usually do. My fittonia keeps drooping and its leaves curl and it seems to have a fading or pale color. I’ve been watering it and leaving it in different levels of sun to see where it does best and nothing has been working, I want to keep it alive but I don’t want to spend more money, any advice?

My fiddle leaf fig unfortunately has fungus gnats, and there’s a lot of information on getting rid of them which can be confusing. Can anyone give me simple, easy ways that don’t involve spending a ton of money?

Can anyone help me same my flaming Katy? The app said she needed more water but I follow the water schedule from the app and she was thriving at old place (we moved 2 weeks ago). She got a bumped on the transfer and lost some leaves but then her flowers started losing color and browning/drying. I’m at a loss and don’t wanna lose her if possible!

Spider mites!! I have been fighting these little buggers forever on my poor plant. Every time I think I have smited them, I see their little webs back in about a month. Poor Ethel is taller than I am so there are many places for the mites to hide from me. I really worried I might not win this war. Ideas for battling such tiny creatures on a large plant like Ethel? Thank you!
