Hello I repotted all my plants about a month ago using soil for houseplants from my local garden centre. Since doing this the soil just seems rubbish. Whenever I water the plants, they don’t drain, the water sits on top and spills out and if I have a window open and it’s windy we end up with soil all over the house. Anyone know why that is? Thanks x
What are these spots that I have circled? This is on my hibiscus 🥺 It almost has a light blue tint to it but it doesn’t show on the camera very weird… Francis isn’t happy.❤️🩹
I got this lilli and I think it’s too warm but when it was outside it started to die. So I thought to cold now I’m thinking to warm???? Any tips
Help help Can anyone tell me if my plant is showing overwater or underwater symptoms? I not quite sure. I feel like maybe over cause the leaves are moist and baby plant underneath is falling over.. Can someone recommend on what I should do first?😩 Thanks in advance!
Spider mite or predatory/beneficial mite?? The vast majority of them are located in/on the moss pole, and the plant itself does not seem to have other “normal” spider mite symptoms.
This is guy is doing amazing. He’s grown a new leave and is currently pushing two more out. He was a rescue from Lowe’s and the leaves he came with have these brown edges. Is there anything I can do to make them healthier? Or are they fine how they are? Thank you all in advance! I just noticed the new leave is started to have the brown edges too. 😢
hi so i got this plant a couple of weeks ago. it’s been pretty cloudy where i live, and i couldn’t place her near my others just yet. i now have and purchased a grow light. she’s yellowing at the bottom bc she’s still wet from the store—should i repot to get her out of this dirt or just let her dry out to avoid stress?

Are these tomato plants capable of reviving? I’m pretty sure each plant needs its own pot, but I’m also nervous about repotting. When I watered them, most of my 6 pots didn’t absorb much or any water…just went straight down the drainage holes. Any advice and help would be so so greatly appreciated. I am clearly a beginner learning more every day.
hi everyone ! my roommate has been struggling with her plant. it’s leaves are either turning brown and wilting, or very yellow. when it was closer to the window, more leaves turned brown. she had moved it away but now they’re turning more yellow. anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and what may help ? thank you (: !
OK, so this is a saladette tomato plant store-bought at this size I’ve only had it, today will be the third day and just since this morning I have noticed some kind of white powdery texture on some of the leaves. This morning, the leaves looked a little wrinkly, but it’s much worse this evening It almost looks like overspray from spray paint, but if I rub it with my finger, it rubs away and the leaves are starting to look almost wrinkly and really dry, and also on one of the leaves there’s discoloration and a spot that looks burnt. I’ve been watering as directed , It’s been getting alot of direct sunlight. I put it in the garage at night with my other seedlings , We don’t keep cars in there. Is there something I need to do or is this tomato plant sick? Please helppp
I noticed cobweb like stuff on my hydrangeas, and I can see tiny little pests which I’m thinking are spider mites. How do I get rid of this? What causes it?

Hello! I got a snake plant a few months back and i the leaves seem to be drying up but i have a lil baby that sprouted too. not exactly sure if this is normal or if i’m watering too much/too little any advice would be great as i am new to plants. thank you!
Better pic of Seymour with out the bloom do have a couple more questions should I give it water every day so it stays moist. I’ve had so many people tell me that I should water it once a week or once every other week or keep water on it at all time and I’m just really confused. Also Seymour caught a daddy long leg. Are those OK for them to eat and why does it have, some yellow spots on some of the plants is that normal or is there something wrong with it? and I’ve never really been quite sure on how much water I should put in its little tub. and is it OK to give the flytrap room temperature filtered water?

Hello! So recently got my little scindapsus treubii moonlight and the tips of its leaves are starting to slightly brown. Is this a concern? Anything I should do? It’s in a 2 inch nursery pot, I water it when the soil gets dry but sticking my finger in it feels a bit rooty. My house is usually around 50-60% humidity, it’s been isolated since I got it, not around any drafts and I keep it by an east facing window. Thank you!!!
Helpppp I left my fiddle leaf fig outside over night and it got in the low 50s! Is it ruined??
