what is recommended to do with the damaged leaves? And how can I help her grow? I overwatered when I first got her, I plan to add fertilizer once it arrives, and I’ve repotted her as she was growing roots through the previous pot. Aswell as I make sure to keep her out of direct sunlight, and drain the excess water when watering. Am I missing anything? I’d appreciate feedback from anyone who knows how to care for a pathos tysm!☺️♥️ Update: I snipped the yellowing and brown/crispy leaves from the stem, hoping to see improvements! fingers crossed 🤞

Help, please! I’m a brand new plant parent and am so overwhelmed. My money tree has fungus gnats that I can’t get to go away, but now I just checked on my monstera adansonii and my neon pothos and they both have stems that are turning brown and crispy, and my pothos has brown spots and holes in the some of the leaves. I’m looking over it thoroughly and not SEEING any bugs - on a few leaves there were tiny tiny black dots that I swiped over and smooshed and they seemed like they were just dirt, but I am so confused. I’ve only watered them when the soil has been totally dry, so I don’t know if over watering is a thing, maybe I’m under watering? Do I have pests that I can’t see? Stressed out, hahaha!
So I just found this room spray, and turns out, it’s very useful for a plant-friendly pest repellent! It includes peppermint, orange, and cinnamon. Also includes white fir, which I don’t know if this means anything, but white fir is disease repellent. Gonna use it on my monstera, and the soil is full of bugs and I think it has pests. :)
I really need help with this palm. I’m not sure why the leaves are doing this. Its leaves are getting crispy. I thought it was only the bottom leaves at first, but now some of the top ones are getting that way as well. Any suggestions on what to do?
Noticed these tiny aphid looking things on my sundew should I be worried? Do I treat with pest treatment or is it ok because this plants carnivorous…:
So this is my Flamingo Lily. It’s usually in the living room but I thought it didn’t get enough light. And one day I put it outside to get some sun and I saw loads of progress. Well, I put it outside again and it ended up burning the leaves. (Picture on the right) And ever since I put it back inside after a good three days it turned even more worse. (Picture on the left) I’m not sure if I should be shading it more or if I do still need to put it outside but just for a few hours. Or if this is something totally different. Just some opinions would help.
I’m generally newer to plants, and man is it a struggle to find their happy places! Somehow I’m doing really good with the harder to care for plants than the easy ones. Sigh. My prayer plants and calatheas love me, but not spider plants and succulents!
I was only gone for a week and it shriveled up
How do I save my Sun dew
i have a shingle plant with these little worms in them. i’ve heard some mean the soil is good but i’m not fully comfortable. i’ve been treating for months with neem to no avail. just for confirmation, does anyone know what these are? i bottom water and they come out.
Haven’t been able to figure out how to bring this back. Have followed recommended feeding and watering guidelines. Leaves have little spots on them. Is the indicative of a disease? Have had the plant for about a year, and has started looking like this the last month or so. I believe it’s a euphorbia bourgeana Any tips or recommendations would be awesome! Would hate to lose it!
Hi Planta Colleagues! I don’t understand why my Areca Palm, after being ok for 1 year, has started browning at the tips - initially only a few leaves, but now all of them. It’s been repotted, proper drainage, watered regularly, close to north facing window, not other sick plant nearby, I can’t see any bugs 🔎… I’m clueless, can’t find the cause - maybe hard water (we’re in London). Any thoughts? 😇🙏
I’ve recently had a lot of problems with my plants that I have had in the last year. It’s seems the more I take care of their individual needs, the more problems pop up. I’ve had this pathos for the better part of a decade and a few years ago. I moved it into the spot where it started thriving very nicely. Just recently a whole bunch of leaves near the base has started, turning yellow and falling off while the ends of the plants are growing like crazy. All the reading done suggests things that I am already doing so I’m not sure what to do at this point. I hate that the base is going to have no leaves at some point.
Hello. I got this fig a little over a month ago. Its bottom leaves have started getting some spots and turning yellow. I repotted it to a pot with better drainage and the roots looked fine at the time but it has gotten more spots since then. I have a grow light on it but is the room too dark for it? This is the light it gets in the morning. Or is it a watering issue? Or is it just upset from a repot? I want to help treat the issue before it gets any worse. Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you so much!
I recently ordered a potting mix online and this is how it looks. I am not sure what the white stuff is. Is it safe to use this mix?
bit of discoloration on this fairly new monstera andansonii. no other leaves have the same spot or show signs of it. Any clues as to what might be happening here? Thanks y’all! 🌱
Does anyone know what I should do with this little leaf? It was diagnosed as overwatered a couple of days ago so I’ve decided to wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again but this leaf just keeps getting worse. Should I cut it off?
I know it’s a little too hard to tell but just left of the centre are cobwebs. Spider mites or normal cobwebs?
Do y’all know what’s wrong with this guy? I’ve been watering it every week (I didn’t think it needed more but I might be wrong) then moved it nearer to a window when it started to not look so good but it’s only gotten worse…
