My purple passion looks more green than purple, and some leaves are pruning up. I’m not sure what’s up with it. I repotted about a month ago to a smaller pot because the pot was way too big. It was very healthy a year ago, I’m thinking old age lol

There are a bunch of tiny bugs on the bottom of my Rattlesnake Calathea. I assume they’re not thrips since they’re not on the leaves… Are these just fungus gnats that haven’t reached maturity?? I did the hydrogen peroxide treatment on the plant just in case.

I’m trying to repot my root-bound scindapsus since it started yellowing all over. When I re-pot, do I need to untangle all of the roots? Or just put in a larger pot with fresh soil? I’ve been trying by spraying and soaking but it’s not really working.

Got busy for a few weeks and suddenly I have flat mites on my aglaonema, broad mites on my kalanchoe, and spider mites on my colocasia. 🤦

Hey so I’ve had this plant since I think last Christmas (I’m not sure when exactly) and it’s a crinkle leafy succulent and I followed instructions online on how to take care of it but it’s quite literally shriveling up….I’m not sure how to help him because I’ve been watering him when he needs and he should be getting the correct amount of sunlight..he was growing a separate plant for awhile that got really long and healthy but my mom according pulled it off. So please please please help him I’m so lost at what I should do. I’ve never really had problems with my plants so I’m just really confused 😖

Bird of paradise problems. Does anyone know how I can help her? We brought her in for the winter. She was not looking great already but now looks worse. Leaves look brown and crispy at the edges. We follow the Planta suggestions for care.

I got this girl from a beautiful nursery a couple of weeks ago. She was nice and green. I did not repot her and despite trying limiting water, etc. she is turning on me. She is small and just has two leaves. Should I just cut her back and give her time to try to regrow? The roots look perfect. She is in what appears to be seedling starter and orchid bark from the nursery.

Does anyone know what this is? I couldn’t figure it out based off of searching online… There’s a little bit of webbing, but not much… it was only on one small part of the plant. The black spots almost look like possible feces?

Hey guys, so my friend gave me a cutting of her jade plant. Are these scales?? Or is it just natural bruising? Debating whether to keep it or not. I can rub them off but it damages the leaf so I’m unsure. Thanks in advance.

Help! This white mildew / mold keeps growing back on the top layer of my Monstera. I’ve started watering it less and I also used hydrogen peroxide in the soil after removing about an inch of soil two weeks ago, and it’s back again. What do I do? 😭

Help! my Hoya is turning yellow and brown and has pests!!! I noticed my plant started to turn yellow and brown on some leaves but I didn’t have enough time to address the problem (this was 2 days ago) today I had a little time so I checked the leaves and 3 fell off with a small pull and where either completely yellow or brown. When examined one of the leaves I found a small white pests on it. I did a little research and I think they are springtails. I don’t have a picture because I quickly threw the leaf out the moment I saw bugs. I was wondering why my plant is dying, how to get rid of the pests (I’ll do a repot because the soil isn’t the best anyways) and if the pests are causing the problem or something else.

My cat knocked down my small snake plant and all the roots came off and the bottom seems like it’s starting to slightly rot from water but what should I do to save it I’ve dipped the end in rooting hormone and placed in soil

Our council tree has been dropping leaves a lot in the last few weeks. I’m not sure if it’s just normal for this time of year, but I’ve attached a few photos of the leaves that have fallen that don’t look too good. If anyone has any thoughts I’d greatly appreciate it. We have a narrow leaf fig in the same room that is also dropping leaves so I’m hoping it’s just a seasonal thing.

Hello, I purchased this plant about 6 months ago, I really don’t even know what it is. It just wasn’t thriving, I was told it needed more humidity so I placed it in my cabinet and it has really taken off… The color of the leaves have changes though, from drab green to this golden ish green… is this good or bad??? I hate to say it but I just don’t know.

Does anyone know what this issue might be? I just put my Pink Princess in a moss pole now that she has several aerial roots, which I thought I had to keep watered. I’ve discontinued watering my pole, and I just watered the other day. I’ve also added a grow light as she’s in a North Facing window. This spots have shown up on several of my smaller leaves now and were mushy at first, but are now dry and brittle. Any ideas and/or solutions?
