HELP!! Recently got my prayer plant and repotted it and its leaves wont stop turning yellow and curling! Iāve had to cut almost everything off the poor plant and the new growth that came with the plant has all died off. What do i do?
Does anyone know how to help my Chinese evergreen (Bj freeman)? This is my largest and favorite plant that Iāve had for almost a year and has usually been thriving. Typically looks a lot fuller (first picture) and in the past few weeks has been losing a lot more leaves that yellow and then slowly die. Now the back sort of has a bare spot since so many leaves have been lost, and itās still growing some new leaves but not much. Itās about 10ft from a northeastern light window, and Iāve been following Plantaās watering/fertilizing/misting schedule. I havenāt changed anything Iāve been doing since I got it, and itās been in the same location this whole time, any ideas?? Losing this plant would crush me, Iām trying to make sure I save it before it gets too far gone š
What is the best spray for leaffolders on eastern redbud tree? Zone 7a. Thanks.
So after the information received here about my poor parlor palm, I was determined to save her despite the permanent damage that she has as a result of what is believed to have been thrips. I didnāt find any signs of them, which may be because a couple of weeks ago I cleaned all the soil on my plants and the leaves on my two palms to eradicate the fungus gnats. Sadly, I believe the damage was already done. Yesterday I cleaned the leaves and stalks with gentle soap and water. Rinsed her off real good, including the roots. I removed any dead stalks that were hard or no longer had the roots attached and a couple of severely damaged leaves. To my surprise I found that there are two new stalks sprouting. She wants to live and appears to be rewarding my efforts to save her with new growth. I am proud to say that while she may be thinned out a bit, I think she is already showing promise. Thank you for the information on what was plaguing her. Iām so glad I found this community to share my love of plants and propagating with. The first, fifth and sixth photos are the ones I posted the other day. The second, third and fourth are from today. Sorry, I couldnāt choose what order the pictures showed in.

Bought this beautiful monstera but it seems to be drooping quite a bit and not getting better. Any recommendations!?
My spider plant that had been beautifully full and healthy is drooping and turning yellow from the top down. I had to move its location and it immediately started doing worse and now itās lost more than half its leaves and looks awful. What could be going on?
does anyone know why my money plant is suddenly becoming very textured? lots of little bumps and very rough around the edges, not sure why :(
Hi! Iāve had my asparagus fern for around 4 years now, and recently, a few of his leaves have turned yellow and crispy :( I trimmed the worst parts off, but Iām a bit worried since heās lived on below my bedroom window for his whole life (part shade since a building blocks the sun most of the day) and Iāve never had this issue before. Iām thinking it could be too much sun, as I was away for a few days and my window was open near him during that time, but since Iāve done that before with no issue, I just wanted to see if people thought that the sun was the problem or if Iām over/under watering him or something. I keep the soil moist and water him one or two times a week. Thanks so much!
Can someone please explain this to me -.- plant was growing leaves just fine and now itās turning into a long stick what the heck :/ could it be that I need to repot? Can it be root bound?! I donāt know please help me š
Trying to save my birds of paradise. I tried to split. I lost my mom a little over a year ago. She brought this plant back from Hawaii to Kentucky. She kept it alive for years. It was busting out of the planter. I split it, but do not feel like itās doing the best. Any experts out there on birds of paradise and information is greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone! So I recently just got into gardening, I have a slight knowledge of plant care being raised by my grandmother who is an avid gardener! So I need some clues on what could be going on with my vegetables out on my balcony. Theyāre relatively healthy, but droop during the day and go back to being firm at night, do yāall think it could be heat related, water related, not enough light? Just a slight comment that I live in Houston where by 12 itās close to 100 degrees outside, and I also live in a high rise on the 12th floor so weāre closer to the sky than ground. Do yāall recommend placing my vegetables indoors or leaving them outdoors on the shaded balcony? I have tomatoās, green onions, carrots, bell peppers, habaneros, jalapeƱos, and Serrano growing all at once. Any tips even unrelated to the direct post will help for a first time plant mom. Thank you! (Edit: also this pic was taken while the plants have firmed a bit, but if yāall look a little closer youāll notice some leaves are starting to curl inwards any ideas on what could be causing that?
So it turns out my pilea was waterlogged, so much that her drainage pot was full up to the base. So I rushed her out the pot and outside I airated soil and squeezed out the loose water, idk what else I can do for her. Sheās the most problematic plant I own and, I just donāt know what to give her to thrive, noir have the necessities for different soil on hand. So Iām not sure what my best move is to do sheās outside in some direct/indirect, sun more of south sun and soon will be partial sun. Iām so inexperienced and just donāt know how to keep indoor plants so any advice on what to do would help.
