Why are the ends of my polka dot begonia turning brown and crispy?
Super proud of her, she’s gorgeous no matter what, but why are the tips of her leaves turning brown and crispy?
I can’t get rid of these damn thrips. I shower the plant I use a highly recommended spray but no luck. It’s been like this since I bought it from Planta a month ago. Help I paid 22$ for this
I have an arrowhead plant which I started from a cutting that was doing great until around 2 months ago. It's leaves started to brown and soften. One is completely shriveled! It also got much paler. I have it in medium light and repotted with additional perlite. I cut back on watering but no new growth since!
So I have this plant on my deck. It’s not growing? Should I repot it?
Help!!!! What’s going on with my Monstera? You can only notice the discoloration in the light and under the leaf… it’s not visible looking at the top of the leaves. She’s watered and fertilized per the scheduling routine. She’s under a grow light and loved. I’m still learning about plants especially monsteras. Thank you for your help 🙏💚🪴
Is there any way to help a plant who recently had root rot grow back leaves? My last plant was reported a little bit ago and I’m just wondering how to help it, I have a drip feeder which gives all the nutrients the plant needs into the soil, I have noticed the stems turning green a little bit, is that a sign that he’s growing slowly? (Ignore the silly name for him)
What is this white stuff on the soil of my philodendron? Is it mold? Am I watering this plant too much? Should I replant it and add fresh soil? Please help!
Please can someone help me with whether these are first signs of thrips? I’m really worried about my plants as when I came back from holiday I found my basil plants badly affected. I sadly threw it away to save the other plants but I’m worried about my monstera now. It was in a different room but has these tracking marks on the leaves, are they the first signs? Thanks so much.
Hey guys. I really don't think I've been over watering this guy. If anything I'm under watering it. But I notice the yellow brownish colour creeping down one or two of the leaves. I've had this happen to my aloe plants before and it killed them. Is there something wrong with this plant you can see? Are these healthy roots? None feel squishy. Should I snip away the affected brown leaves? Does it need more frequent watering or something? I water it about once a month
My aloe plant in my room is doing really well, had pups etc. looks wonderful But i have come to the realization that the aloe plant in my room is flourishing but my moms that she keeps in the kitchen isn’t. It’s like got brown dried out stringy stuff connected to it and it’s also bent weird. The leaves of it are also not firm and are also slim. Could it be lightning? Potting? Water? I have also noticed that it is very loose in the pot, like i can pick it up and move it and it can just roll around (I bottom water my aloe plant and she poors water on top of the soil if that helps and they are massawanas i believe) I want to help my moms plant
This lily was doing well until recently. Idk what’s wrong with it. I didn’t see any bugs or anything. What could be the problem?
This is Hercules, my BOP and it has a new leaf and it’s uncurling. I think it will tear the leaf. Do you help it or just leave it alone? I gave this guy a shower last night and the leaf starts to uncurl. I didn’t realize until I saw it tonight 😭
Any advice for gnat infestation? I have repotted my plants twice now. Tried using hydrogen peroxide water, tried putting sand on top of soil, tried dish soap with sugar and water… I have yellow sticky traps to catch them… my plants are dying and I really want to know how I can save them :( thank you!
(I’ll add pic later) How do you save a dying baby juniper (I think)? It’s almost all brown, but still has some green spots. I transferred it from water to a pot about a week ago because it was dying, and added a fertilizer stick under the dirt. It seems to be doing better now, but still not great. Help please!
Who is eating my nesting fern?? My balcony is screened. 🤦🏼♀️
Anyone else have issues with algae growing in your pots? They do not get watered until they are completely dry and they live in a chunky soil mix. They are placed in a window, which I know light causes algae but is there any way to avoid this? Will it affect my plants at all?
Please help! I bought this fairy castle cactus back in May ‘24 (then and now pics 1 and 2). This week, I noticed these scabs/scales mostly on the “back” of plant. A couple of its limbs have started to fall off. There doesn’t seem to be root rot, and I didn’t notice any pests moving around when I removed the soil. Note: I keep this plant outside on a shelf on my north-facing balcony. I’ve lightly watered it (NOT bottom-watered) only when the soil is completely dry maybe 3 times since May.
Have a leafy Camilla that is otherwise in great health, but today has tons of teeny tiny black bugs seemingly out of nowhere. I’ve had it about 6 months, this is the first time I’ve seen them! What the heck are they and how do I get rid of them without killing the plant?
My moms monstera has a couple leaves that have these little spots and we think they’re just sun freckles but we’re not sure- they’re completely flat and there’s no eggs or anything
