Oh no!!!
Help!! I'm at all loss. Anyone know what type of mite or pest this is? I thought spider mites but there was no webbing and straight rubbing alcohol did not touch them. They just walked right through it. Captain Jacks dead bug also did not work. This was taken 10 mins after dousing the plant in Captain Jack's. It's a video I had to screenshot since I can't post videos here
My Jade plant, Jessica, has been having a tough time though she still appears to be growing okay. Looks like she keeps getting chomped, presumably by the squirrels or opossums I know live in my apartment complex. Any tips for preventing her from being a snack? Sheâs also had bugs â thrips? Small and blackâfor quite awhile despite my using Captn Jacks Dead Bug on her twice. Iâve also used toothpicks to scrape/pick them off once a week or so when they get bad. Any tips on complete removal of bugs? And finally, many of her leaves are black and speckled. No, those arenât the bugs themselves, the actual leaves are getting some lumps and spots. Mostly on the underside of the leaves but some on top side too. Not sure if this is because of the bugs though or because of the pesticide? Any ideas? Thanks a ton!
Can anyone help diagnose the problem with my cherry tomato plant? Water every 2 days, in sunlight for like 10 hours a day!
My monstera is so flimsy and just sad looking. Itâs been sad looking since the day I bought it and I brought it home, inspected and repotted a few weeks ago with fresh, better soil and she hasnât made any progress. It has a lot of mechanical damaged leaves and the bottom leaves have slowly been yellowing. Iâve lost a few smaller leaves lately at the bottom. What should I do with it?
Can someone tell me whatâs wrong with my weeping fig plant? Sheâs not thriving at all. I had to repot her today 8/4 cuz I noticed white mold? in the soil. She has cactus fast drain soil from miraclegro. I water her consistently but wait until the soil dries out before I water her again. Sheâs next to big windows with lots of sunlight. How do I fix her?
My rubber tree Dropped 3 leaves. Kinda worries me was does this color mean?
Help with cat palm! My cat palm has been unproblematic until recently where Iâm seeing some leaf turn yellow and some with some black spots on them. It also looks like itâs leaning. I donât overwater it and I make sure itâs drained. I wonder if itâs cause itâs sitting under a vent. I do see some new growths though! Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
Hello, my pothos has a yellow leaf, unsure why this is happening. I try really hard not to overwater it, I wait until the soil is very dry and make sure the water is drained. I still have it in the nursery pot. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated!
Can someone tell me whats wrong with my jade plant?
I bought this on clearance at Walmart a few days ago and just checked out the roots and the knots (idk what they are called) are mushy and just not good. I can see some black running up some of the stems (2nd pic). Is this able to be saved?
What going on here? I just brought her home just over 2 weeks ago, sheâs been working on unfurling this leaf since I picked her up and brought her home! Any ideas?
What is wrong with this coffee plant? I follow Plantas directions and I have it right near a humidifier and the leaves are constantly drying out like this. I just snipped off four! đ€·ââïžđ€·ââïž
Hello! I have a calathea Stella that I have placed in a window that gets indirect sunlight all day and then maybe an hour of direct sunlight. It had a lot of new leaves but they are starting to dry out and I canât tell if I just need to water it more frequently or if itâs not humid enough (or something else entirely). Some of the leaves were yellowing which I though meant I was overwatering, so Iâm just a little confused whatâs going on. Iâm also only watering with filtered water because I know these plants can be a bit finicky! Thanks!
My plant is dying and I don't know how. It has no pests and I've been watering it once every week. My mom cut off a piece hoping it'll grow back. I've had this plabt for years, what should I do?
Found a little mushroom this morning in my philodendron. Should I be concerned?
most of my indoor plants develop this green-ish white mold after a week or so after watering. I have decreased my watering to try and solve the problem but they still get mold on the surface of their dirt. I live in Colorado and my indoor plants are in a variety of ceramic and terracotta pot.
Perplexed here. My ZZ plant has two top yellowing leaves on one of the stalks. It canât be due to overwatering because I water once a month and itâs in terracotta with a fairly chunky mix. Itâs in an east facing window room but about 6 feet away from the window. However, I did just repot it, into a bigger pot since the rhizomes were squished in there. The old and new soil was dry when it was transplanted and I didnât water it till now, about ten days later (which is a total of about 24 days without water). Could this be repot stress? Or an old stalk?
The first picture is a Swiss cheese I bought from Home Depot today and it does have webbing at the bottom of the plant but I did some looking and found a spider so Iâm assuming all of it is from him and not spider mites? Iâve never had them before so wanting to make sure. The second picture is a ZZ plant I saved from Walmart clearance. There is white roots sticking out of the bottom but I do think itâs in beginning stages of root rot because Iâm pretty sure I see some mushy dark roots hanging out as well. Iâll have to investigate better tomorrow. If it does and I treat it/cut off bad roots, any tips on keeping her healthy since sheâll be messed with while not acclimated? Also, should I just take off the damaged leaves?
