My Jade plant, Jessica, has been having a tough time though she still appears to be growing okay. Looks like she keeps getting chomped, presumably by the squirrels or opossums I know live in my apartment complex. Any tips for preventing her from being a snack? Sheās also had bugs ā thrips? Small and blackāfor quite awhile despite my using Captn Jacks Dead Bug on her twice. Iāve also used toothpicks to scrape/pick them off once a week or so when they get bad. Any tips on complete removal of bugs? And finally, many of her leaves are black and speckled. No, those arenāt the bugs themselves, the actual leaves are getting some lumps and spots. Mostly on the underside of the leaves but some on top side too. Not sure if this is because of the bugs though or because of the pesticide? Any ideas? Thanks a ton!
