Hi there, it's my first time keeping a Monstera, and I'm super excited. I feel like I've been doing well so far, but I’m open to any tips. There are a lot of new leaves, and they all seem to be healthy. However, I wasn't expecting it to get so much bigger so fast! The leaves are really spreading out, and I was wondering if it might be getting to be time for me to add a moss pole? If anyone has any feedback, I’d be grateful!
This is a new leaf on my moms monstera. None of The other leaves have these spots. Any idea what Causes these?
Can someone tell me why my monstera’s stem is browning? This is the only stem like this and this plant is growing just fine. Is the leaf just getting old, or should I be worried? I recently repotted and the roots looked perfectly healthy. Thanks!
Hi guys!!!! Just an update on my Monstera cuttings that I had no idea how to propagate for roots etc etc, I’ve been checking the two cuttings religiously and finally one of them has a (root??) growing!!!!!! Thank you so much for all your advice. They have been in soil not water so it is possible with soil too! 😅🤣
I have a huge monstera. I have a support for it, but it is getting to big and heavy. I need something else to support it. I have a pole in it now and it’s leaning to one side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m new to planting and I am propagating a piece of my monstera plant. How long before you started noticing root growth?
Help!! My Thai Constellation has started browning after only 3 weeks of adopting her :( this is only on the variegated parts. I read this was normal, but am unsure. No root rot, and not sunburn. By a Southwest facing window, 4ft away but there’s no light directly on her. Also has a grow light a few feet above that’s only on for about 3 hrs. Any ideas are appreciated!! ♥️
I bought this tetrasperma cutting off someone and have had it in water for like 6 months. It started out with 3 leaves, but one has since died off and the other two are dying now too. Can anyone help me figure out why it’s not rooting? I’ve already tried placing it with other rooted cuttings, and using rooting hormone.
I’m a little concerned of my monstera bc the new leaf has brown ends, what causes this? Thank you in advance!!
Help!! My monstera has thrips and I can’t get rid of them. The most recent thing I’ve tried is spraying the leaves with rubbing alcohol but that doesn’t seem to be working! Any advice appreciated, thanks 😅
Do y’all have any tips on getting/encouraging your monstera to grow more/longer vines?
Hello :) This is Millicent Milly for short she’s doing well and we just wanted to say hi to a new group of friends
Any suggestions on what kind of moss pole to get?
just got this cutting of a monstera albo and i finally got my hands on it ! as a beginner please give me tips on how to care for this albo! I'm so scared to kill it ! anc do y'all think this cutting has potential?? also can anyone tell me what those 2 bumps on the middle of the stem is? is that good or bad? thank y'all for the advice 🙏🏽! (last pic is the mother plant)
Repotted my monstera and added a moss pole! Is the pot too big? The roots were CRAZY🥹 managed to prop a tiny little baby.
So far this is the only brown spot on my Thai constellation, I’m not sure if I’m under or over watering the brown spot is not mushy or crispy. It also doesn’t get direct sunlight but is in a bright room with indirect sunlight. It has pushed out a new leaf within the last couple weeks. Does anybody know what’s going on and what I can do to prevent more brown spots?
I’m thinking about trimming two leaves off my monstera. It is a wise choice? They have multiple brown spots and one is ripped quite badly. It was that way when I bought it. Any and all advice and methods would be appreciated! This is the first time I’m trimming a plant, I’m quite new to being a plant person. Thank you!
Here’s my thai con i got about a month ago! she’s pushed out 2 new leaves since i got her!!
