Fungus Gnats! I’m a plant newbie and I’ve started to get a lot of fungus gnats, what is the best way to get rid of them? Any help is very much appreciated 🤩
Howdy y’all! So last night I noticed a white powdery substance in the underside of my monstera borgisiana’s newest leaf. It didn’t seem like mealybugs and I was able to wipe it off fairly easily but it left behind a small bruise. Woke up this morning to check on the lead and now it’s developed a bruise on the underside and the top of the leaf. Any ideas what could be happening here? Thanks I’m advanced!
The new leaffff, IM OBSESSSEDDD. She’s doing MUCH better, unfortunately the leaves that were already damaged won’t heal, but they won’t harm the plant any further :)) I’m so happy she’s thriving again
Eeeee new leafs 🤩
does anyone know why my Thai con white part is turning see-through? she just got watered so I’m thinking maybe over watering? or maybe she got too *much* water too fast, all at once?
So excited!!! Just got this White Monster Monstera today!
my girl has some damage; can i chop off the yellow/brown parts? would it grow back or stay chopped forever?
Due to pests, I am chopping up my monstera and hoping to propagate. I cut 2 leaves with a node and arial roots. Whilst I was neeming (plant verb😁) I noticed this browning under one of them. Any ideas as to what it is and should I even try to propagate it?
Just got her from Home Depot. seems to be doing well but it seems to be multiple plants put together. It’s winter now so I’m scared to mess with her but do we think i should repot and separate them or wait until spring? Also she has some damage and a lot of little bottom leaves. Also has 4 freshly unfurled leaves.
I scored a top cutting of a Monstera Esqueleto today WHITE POWDER : I've put DIATOMACEOUS EARTH on it just incase! Don't need any pests around here ! QUESTION : it's in Moss should I put in perlite ? ROOTS PICTURED BELOW
My monstera was doing super well… 2 recent new growths. There was a third one on the way before I noticed spider mites on my lemon tree. I have since eliminated the spider mites, but my monstera is not doing too well. Recent yellowing of leaves and this browning on one of the stems. Any ideas?
Finally got my Monstera Mint💚
The plants in these pics used to be in one pot. After an unfortunate root rot incident, she spent several months rehabilitating in some water under a grow light. I repotted her about 2 months ago. She lost some leaves initially as expected. But the yellow pot and brown/white pot continue to have leaves yellow and fall off. Any suggestions on what to do?
Save Marilyn ✨UPDATE✨ She’s doing so good! Even pushing out a new leaf!!! I saved her y’all 🥹🥹 Context, when I got her she was in a seed plug which caused root rot after about two months. She had 1 teeny tiny aerial root and now just look at her 🥹🥹🥹
I bought my first Monstera Deliciosa at ikea 😭
Beautiful new growth 😍 I’m obsessed
I’m so excited for this new leaf!
So I’m hoping to repot my monstera because she is getting wayyy too big for her pot and I want her to thrive! Any suggestions or helpful advice would be very much appreciated!
Hello, Unfortunately my monstera Thai con got sick and all his leaves went yellow, it was previously in a pot with chunky soil mix. I have removed it and tried to clean roots as much as possible and I have put it in the bottle with water and a drop of plant food. Is what I am doing correct? If there is any recommendations or suggestions on what I should do to give my plant as much hope as possible? I would really appreciate any help! Edit: I also want to add that, this plant has constantly only ever grown white leaves, is there anything I can do at this stage to prevent that?
previous owner planted the node vertically instead of horizontally and a leaf grew really weird (the sideways one). Is there a way to fix it? and should I be worried about another leaf growing this way again? (I’ve repotted it as horizontally as I can and have a grow light indirectly above it)
