I cut my stem a little on accident the other side is still attached thought just noticed this morning I put some tape on it yall think the whole leaf will die?

It’s hard to see with these awkwardly angled pics, but thoughts on moving the stem further down into the dirt since there’s so many areal roots?? Will the stem that has nodes grow more roots under the soil or will it cause it to rot?? Thank you!

I am usually wary of Walmart plants, especially the Thai cons because of the horror stories I’ve heard about root rot and pests. I took a look one of the last times I went to the store, though, and I spotted this beauty. When I repotted it, I was delighted to find perfectly healthy and robust white roots. It was in pure peat, so it was probably very new to the store otherwise I would expect to see some rot. Anyway, I’m very pleased with this $30 purchase, and I wanted to share it with people I knew would appreciate it. 😊

I scored this Monstera Thai Constellation at Wal-Mart tonight for $30. 🤯 She's a beauty & peep the new leaf unfurling too. I think her name's Cassiopeia. Any care tips are appreciated! 🤎

I could use some advice.Ledebouria socialis is having a hard time opening its leaves I see pictures of them and the leaves are so flat while mine are so tightly wound up is this the way it's supposedto be? I only notice this now because on the lower part of the plant the new leaves are breaking out halfway up the column and it just doesn't look right

New Plant Mom

***Help*** I’ve recently purchased some Monsteras and I really want to keep them alive. The app says they either have too much light or too little light and now my Monstera is drooping. I have a Monstera (purchased from local nursery and repotted there a week ago) and Monstera Albo (once propagated and now potted. Got her about a week ago). Both are 5ft away from an East facing window and the Thai Constellation (purchased from Walmart two days ago) about 5ft from a North facing window. I also purchased some grow lights but I don’t know how to properly place them so the leaves don’t burn or how long to keep it on for. Any advice or suggestions will be so helpful and appreciated so this new plant mom doesn’t kill her plants again. Any care tips or what worked for you, please let me know.

I’ve had my monstera for a few years now - I placed it at the corner my room about 2 years ago now and it slowly started to grow out in one direction (towards the window for light) until it became heavily lopsided (see photo) - how can I fix it so that’s its upright, other than just turning it around and hoping it slowly grow back the other way? Any advice? Thanks!

Ive started noticing color changes on my baby deliciosa in the past few weeks. Does anyone know what this might be? Should I be concerned? The plant has grown a ton, is actively putting out new leaves, no pests, no yellowing and healthy roots. The color change is on both sides of the leaves, it just is harder to see on the top side. Only maybe half of them have the dark patches. Ive never seen this before and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong here or what this even is. Pictures are from various stops on my way out to my garage to inspect it away from my cats. Usually lives in my grow room under lights

I know mini monsteras aren’t technically monsteras, but does anyone have any tips on how to stop the leaves near the base from falling off? I’m not sure if I’m maybe doing something wrong.

Bought this humidifier at the dollar tree to help with leaf unfurling. I have two babies coming at the same time! I hope this helps.

I've had my Thai con for about 3ish (?) months now and it hasn't put of any new leaves, but has lost one. Any recommendations on how to help it out? Photo is from a few weeks ago, I've tried off the leaf slightly out of the frame as it died.

Hi everyone! My Planta app is telling me that I should be watering my Monkey Mask everyday, that doesn’t sound correct to me, any help is much appreciated! 😁

Guys I know that the droplets are normal but the soil is completely dry and I don’t even have a humidifier in the same room as it and I’m scared to water it, I heard that if the droplets are always happening it’s bad. It’s been doing this for the past week now everyday

Just repotted our largest monstera with a cedar plank and we needed to move it to another room so with that being said my question for you all is if you think this will get enough light here? It’s directly north.

Hello everyone! I got this plant a few days ago for Christmas and a day after adding it to my living room it got sick. I first thought of a watering issues because the soil was very dry when I got it. But the watering didn’t make it better, it even got worse. I thought it might be cold damage because I had to carry it outside to my home for 5min in -10 Celsius. Could anyone tell me what I can do to save it? Thank youuu

Which wattage grow light do you use for your monstera?
