Howdy plant lovers! I'm new to monstera, especially such baby ones, but I wanted to try my hand at nurturing something so small! This little mint looks healthy overall, but the bottom leaf is starting to yellow in the west facing window I've got it in. The top one looks to be thriving! I wanted to ask whether I just shouldn't sweat it and let the plant get as much light as possible at the expense of the smallest leaf versus try to move it someplace a little less bright. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Why is my monsteras leaves curling in? I watered it since I was checking its roots for root rot and they unfurled for a few minutes. Since it’s humid outside when I watered it did it give it enough humidity?

Has this ever happened to your monstera? Brand new and it’s dropping down. The stem doesn’t seem to be broken. Any advice is welcomed! Was thinking about just tying her back up. Thanks in advance!

What is the exact name of this Thai plant? Can someone tell me when I use Planta here it tells me something different. Just Swiss cheese plant. What is the technical name for it?
What I really want to know is why does the top of my largest leaf look like it’s starting to get light brown on the edges could that be from too much watering or is it because I changed the pot did give it a moss pole, and it has the coco coir mixture of good topsoil and so forth just curious why it would be getting light brown on the edges and what to do with that

I’m going to be showing a photo of three Monstera leaves there in water growing some roots. Let me know if these roots are enough to put into dirt yet. I’m waiting for some more tiny roots to come out of the bigger roots that you see that I circled, please give me some info of when I should be OK to plant these. You will see three leaves in the water, but I’m only gonna be planting two of them. I had to dismantle my leaves because my original plant was dying due to stress and who knows what but these are the leaves that looked good so I put them in water about two weeks ago. Anyway, who can tell me when it would be OK to put these back into dirt because as said I’m not seeing any smaller roots coming out of two huge white roots that you see here circled.

So I decided to let my monstera grow some from repotting it with compost I have been cultivating since I moved into this apartment in November. I mixed compost with the soil that was already in the pot for a final 20% compost.
My rationale is all the leaves come off of two nodes, if I cut off one node + longest aerial root + 3 leaves, that will leave two leaves and two aerial roots. I think that’ll be a big blow to the Monstera cutting off 3/5 of its leaves. My thought is to make the plant as healthy as I can first, then do the cutting and put it in water for new roots to grow.
I would then wait some more to see if the plant grows some more due to the compost. I hope it’ll grow new leaves, especially at the first aerial root. I hope it grows leaves there, because then, I can cut off the second node + aerial roots + leaves and put it in water.
Do I make sense?

Just got my first monstera deliciosa. Looking for any tips /tricks. Also when do you need to add a moss pole? It seems premature to do so right now, but I don’t want to mess the plant up because I didn’t do it.

Hey everyone!
New to the app, and I thought I would just ask a quick question to the pros.
Is this enough light for my new monstera albo??im a little worried since I’ve heard contradicting things about their light needs…
It’s a north facing window in Alberta for reference.
Show me the Greens!
I turn around for a second… 😆
I’ve never experienced this before. A leaf growing from the soil… or a whole new stem?!

I am in the search for a unique and cute moss pole for my plant. Where do you all get yours?

Is that a spider web on the soil of my Thai constellation or something else? What should I do?

Swapped the poles on my Thai Constellations from Coir to Real Moss. Need to make sure I remember to keep them moist now.
Also adjusted my grow light position so all my plants in this corner get enough light.

My monstera is dying! Monte is dying! We have had a lot of days in a row with rain or cloudy. But…. It was time to repot, clean, change dirt; give Monte the full spa treatment for plants. I don’t think he liked it. Because after that day, he started going down hill. I began to notice the curling on the tips of his leaves. I asked Dr. Planta and he said lacking water, got on a different watering schedule. Then….no sunlight (hardly), and the water seemed to drain so fast out the bottom. That’s when the leaves started turning brown at the tips. Is Monte dying?? What do I do to save him? He’s still growing!!
