Is this a good light setup for my monstera albo? I don’t know the brand of these lights the box just says “LED grow light sets.” It currently sits about 1.5 feet away and is on the third brightest setting which isn’t super low or too bright. Will I need to acclimate this plant to the brightest setting at some point? I just got this plant about 4 days ago. Do I need to change the way this is angled? Another question, I have an east facing window where I get a lot of bright direct morning light. Can I move my monstera from direct morning light back to grow lights every day?

My oldest monstera just doing his thing!
Is my monstera a lost cause? I was gifted a water propagation almost 3 years ago and in that time I’ve only had two new leaves, and I’ve had to chop off one leaf. Now about to have to chop off another. I accidentally dropped my pot recently and lost soil so I know I need to repot it, but one of the leaves is now super yellow. Some of these roots look/feel brittle and dry. 1) Should I chop the yellow leaf completely? 2) Should I repot in the same container/size? Any other advice appreciated! Sadly the leaves have never developed fenestration, nor grown that large. I fear I must be doing something wrong?
My monstera hasn’t put out a new large leaf in about 3 months! It has steadily been giving at least 1 leaf per month. I’ve repotted, fertilize regularly, tons of west facing sunlight, and don’t overwater. Any thoughts??
New leaf on my Thai Constellation 👏😍
My besties plant is having some problems…she’s sun burnt. Please any advice to help her!!
I would love to have a monstera but I can’t fit one in my house, plus I don’t think I they are puppy safe. Do you think it would make a good classroom plant for a middle/high school? I really would love to have one. I do have a big southern facing window. Can monstera plants do well outside in their pots over the summer?
HELP!!! My monstera deliciosa somehow got root rot and is not doing well. I cut off all the rotten roots and put it in a super chunky mix to try to help it, but it still seems like it’s dying. How do I salvage it??
Hi! I’m new to caring for plants and am looking for some help with my monstera! Her leaves have been curled up for a while now and I’m not sure what to do. I repotted her about a month ago. She used to sit right next to the window, but it was also right in the line of the a/c vent, so now she is further from the vent (and therefore also the direct light). I have also tried misting the leaves with water daily to help with humidity, but nothing seems to be working. I appreciate any help on this!
Howdy plant lovers! I'm new to monstera, especially such baby ones, but I wanted to try my hand at nurturing something so small! This little mint looks healthy overall, but the bottom leaf is starting to yellow in the west facing window I've got it in. The top one looks to be thriving! I wanted to ask whether I just shouldn't sweat it and let the plant get as much light as possible at the expense of the smallest leaf versus try to move it someplace a little less bright. Thanks in advance for any advice!
hi! i just got this thai constellation and i noticed today that the edges are starting to turn brown. i want to nip this in the bud so that it stays healthy. what is wrong with it and what should i do? thanks!!
Put her in the ground back in March and shes killing it! ☺️
My outside monsters
Thai? Dont think its Albo? Sticker said Thai but HD and Lowes stickers lie sometimes lol
Why is my monsteras leaves curling in? I watered it since I was checking its roots for root rot and they unfurled for a few minutes. Since it’s humid outside when I watered it did it give it enough humidity?
Has this ever happened to your monstera? Brand new and it’s dropping down. The stem doesn’t seem to be broken. Any advice is welcomed! Was thinking about just tying her back up. Thanks in advance!
What is the exact name of this Thai plant? Can someone tell me when I use Planta here it tells me something different. Just Swiss cheese plant. What is the technical name for it? What I really want to know is why does the top of my largest leaf look like it’s starting to get light brown on the edges could that be from too much watering or is it because I changed the pot did give it a moss pole, and it has the coco coir mixture of good topsoil and so forth just curious why it would be getting light brown on the edges and what to do with that
I’m going to be showing a photo of three Monstera leaves there in water growing some roots. Let me know if these roots are enough to put into dirt yet. I’m waiting for some more tiny roots to come out of the bigger roots that you see that I circled, please give me some info of when I should be OK to plant these. You will see three leaves in the water, but I’m only gonna be planting two of them. I had to dismantle my leaves because my original plant was dying due to stress and who knows what but these are the leaves that looked good so I put them in water about two weeks ago. Anyway, who can tell me when it would be OK to put these back into dirt because as said I’m not seeing any smaller roots coming out of two huge white roots that you see here circled.
So I decided to let my monstera grow some from repotting it with compost I have been cultivating since I moved into this apartment in November. I mixed compost with the soil that was already in the pot for a final 20% compost. My rationale is all the leaves come off of two nodes, if I cut off one node + longest aerial root + 3 leaves, that will leave two leaves and two aerial roots. I think that’ll be a big blow to the Monstera cutting off 3/5 of its leaves. My thought is to make the plant as healthy as I can first, then do the cutting and put it in water for new roots to grow. I would then wait some more to see if the plant grows some more due to the compost. I hope it’ll grow new leaves, especially at the first aerial root. I hope it grows leaves there, because then, I can cut off the second node + aerial roots + leaves and put it in water. Do I make sense?
Just got my first monstera deliciosa. Looking for any tips /tricks. Also when do you need to add a moss pole? It seems premature to do so right now, but I don’t want to mess the plant up because I didn’t do it.
