My monstera hasn’t put out a new large leaf in about 3 months! It has steadily been giving at least 1 leaf per month. I’ve repotted, fertilize regularly, tons of west facing sunlight, and don’t overwater. Any thoughts??

    She is beautiful! You have repotted her recently about 3 months ago? Did you upsized big? I'm asking because that's what happened to my Thai Con. I repotted more than she actually needed thinking she grows roots fast and would be her semi-forever home of 5 years? Then later on found out that she was already having root rot. I kept checking her soil and was still wet for more than a month. Repotted her again to the right size but was too late 😭. I'm trying to propagate her now to root back up. May not be your case, just fyi 🤔

      Thank you! I’ve been watching the roots (clear pot) and waiting and waiting because I know they like to be snug. I repotted just a couple of weeks ago and I had to completely cut it out of the pot (took me forever 😅). It was also drying out really quickly so I just figured it was time

      That's good she's on a clear pot. Maybe she's just adjusting to the change 😊

      Sadly I couldn’t find a clear pot anywhere when I potted up recently. I’m so sad not to be able to see the roots anymore! All I can do is wait at this point- she looks healthy but I’m still perplexed

    Hi! I don’t know if anyone else can confirm this but maybe it’s sun angle? With it being summer and the sun being more directly overhead, i feel like my plants actually don’t get as good of light as they do in the other seasons where the sun is at a lower angle and light shines more directly in my spaces. Just speculation as some of my plants have been slow to grow as well

    damn, she’s pretty! monsteras sometimes will go dormant for a bit. i wouldn’t worry about it unless the leaves start dying or she seems unhealthy at all. great work on her! 🙌
