Advice on how to even begin helping this giant and likely ancient Monstera at my work appreciated! I have no idea how old the soil is or who or how often it gets watered. As you can see, though, it needs some love!

I didn’t want to do a moss pole - scared of mold- for my Monstera adansonii. So instead, I watched a video and made cuttings ! I know to change water once a week, but can I leave them on the counter not near the sunny window? Or do I need to put them near the same window the mama plant is in? Help this is my first time propagating and I’m nervous! 😬
hi all, my monstera is currently supported by 4 bamboo sticks and its really starting to lean - will a repot fix this or do I need to change my setup? moss pole needed? also I know the rope is super ugly, I’m not sure the best solution to tame wild leaves? thanks in advance!
And just when I think I’m doing nothing right my Thai con shows me she’s happy still. Just reminds me that I can apply that to my own life too. I am not rich in the materialistic way. With love though I am forever blessed.
Any recommendations for small and unique looking monsteras? I've always been drawn to them but so many of them are just too huge (I would love to have a thai constellation but WOW it's big)
Sorta monstera sorta not… I’m excited, got a young spiderman monstera (Amydrium) today from a local seller. New to these and research indicates they can be tricky. If anyone can share any tips I’d appreciate it! Ambient conditions, average humidity about 60%, potted in a semi hydro blend.
Hi everyone! I got a Monstera adansonii a couple weeks ago and it was doing great. But lately, I’ve been seeing mold on the soil. I’ve removed it and added cinnamon, but it keeps coming back. It’s been raining a lot, so I moved it to the front of my house for more sunlight. It used to get partial sun, but now it gets full sun most of the day. It’s in chunky soil, a plastic pot with drainage, and surrounded by other plants. Also noticed a couple bottom leaves turned black and fell off. Could this be from too much rain, sun, or the move? Any tips would help—thanks! (The picture isn’t current since it’s midnight, but I can add an updated one if needed.)
I have a huge pot with three monstera plants that are growing great and constantly putting out new leaves. I have flexible poles in the pot that I need to take out because they’re not sturdy enough. Thinking of replacing with in a large moss pole - any recommendations? Probably need the pole to be 40+ inches or more
Ever since I got Garden Ramsleaf this one leaf has been curled upwards. Recently, this new leaf started uncurling and it's curling downwards? Any idea what's causing this?
New plant mom here I bought some indoor plants only 2 days ago and already one of them is stressing me out😩 like what am I doing wrong lol??? can yall guess which one is causing me the most stress???
Ummmm noticed this today. A little scared. What the heck is this and should i be worried??
I’ve repotted my monstera Nessie a couple of times since I’ve had her. She grows quickly in this spot. However, she keeps pulling her support forward and I’m afraid she will eventually fall over. I’ve used moss poles in the past and now I’m using a 2x4. Does anyone have advice on how to anchor or support a big girl like this?
Just got a Thai Con today! Potted her in a mix of potting soil and cocoa husk & a self-watering pot. any care tips? so excited! my first ever monstera! East facing window if that helps :)
Hope everyone is doing well ☺️ I’ve been propagating my Monstera in Sphagnum Moss. Should I let it sit some more or is this good to plant in Chunky Aroid potting mix?
Any tips to help care for these two Monstera’s
I’m so in love with my Swiss Cheese plant I ordered from Planta ☺️
Hey plant besties , I just ordered stuff to make a moss pole and split these babies up . I realized that there are 3 plants in each pot and they are growing different directions . My question is , I ordered a 12 inch pot but now I’m thinking - if I’m splitting the plant , does my pot need to be that big ?
I just got this tiny baby monstera albo in the mail today and I’m so nervous about killing it because it’s so tiny. It was grown from tc and has been acclimating in soil for 2 months according to the seller - and is all of about 2” tall. I have aroid mix at home but am so scared of it getting crushed if I move it to aroid so tiny - I’m thinking my best action is to just leave it alone for another few months with watering when dry but that’s it - any help on how I can not kill this baby would be so appreciated.
I had this monster in my fish tank and it got rot I’ve been trying to regrow it and every time I start to get roots it gets rot again🤦🏼♀️ can I jut cut the little shoots off and root them? I marked where I would cut but want to make sure first. Thank you 🫶🏼
I got this pretty monstera about a week ago, I noticed the little leaves in the bottom are getting some brown spots? What am I doing wrong here 😬 this is the pot that I bought it in from Lowe’s. I use a grow light so that it gets enough light when the light by the window isn’t coming in. Watered it today and last week when I brought it home. Any ideas?
