Look at my beautiful mini monstera growth
Is this a new “branch” on my Monstera growing in? If not, what is this?
New leaf with brown stem is that normal 😬
Hi! New plant mom here and desperately need help. I just got this beauty about a week ago. She seemed cramped in the pot she came in so I gave her a larger home. Her roots seemed pretty bound up and there were a couple of larger ones that had come to the surface. I buried them when I repotted. Is that okay? Also, when I got her she already had some brown spots on a couple of leaves. Since then the spots have gotten bigger and darker and are starting to show up on other leaves. Additionally, some of her smaller leaves are turning yellow and a couple fell off when I barely touched them. PLEASE HELP! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I want this beauty to survive!
Delighted at the 3 month progress on this adonsonii I’ve been working at reviving! Oct. 13th -> Jan. 15th 🥹 successfully propagated a cutting to add back to the mother plant, it’s taken off beautifully. Sidenote: I would love to see a planta community dedicated to progress photos, I love before and after pics! 💚🧀🌱
The leaves on my adansonii wide form have been exploding in size!! I definitely need a taller stake haha
Hey guys, been struggling with this for a while, all seems well with boo but he’s not given me any more larger leaves for about 3 months. So I’ve sprayed him with insecticide just in case it’s nastays. But now he’s poping out a little leaf 🥹 and ofc I’m happy, but y no big leaf? Hope y’all can help x
I had to post this somewhere! I AM SO PROUD 😍
yall i don’t wanna jump to any conclusions but is this the root coming in?? first time propagating monstera so i am not sure🤔
My boss just gave me this monstera adansonii, it looks a little sad. Any advice for her? I have her under some grow lights currently
My bestie and I made moss poles for my monstera 🥹 I’m so happy, it really needed them! I’m hoping that the support will help it grow bigger leaves!
Just wanted to share this Thai constellation my old manager at my old nursery gave me at the start of my employment. She’s gotten so big 🥹
Hello! My monstera is/was doing fine until a new leaf start growing in yellow/brown. The last new leaf hads this brown/yellow spot. What’s wrong with my plant? Thank you!!
Hi, my cheese plant is slowly dying and any new growth just falls off pretty quickly. I propagated it a while ago and that worked for a little bit now it’s dying again. I’ve been following planta’s recommended watering schedule so I don’t know what else to do. Does anyone know how to save it?
The leaf and steam on the bigger part broke and died in a move. The other two are OK should I just cut off the leaf or should I break this off to propagate it and how easy would that be?
My monsteras are struggling and at this point I’m not sure why. I removed two of the bottom leaves today since they were fully brown and crispy, and there’s a third yellow leaf that’s probably going to die as well. There’s also a new leaf that seems to have rotted before uncurling; super concerning. I’m thinking it could be shock due to repotting too frequently (once a month ago because the soil was too dense, and last week there was some root rot due to the drainage holes being blocked at the bottom of the pot so water was pooling and I didn’t want rot to set in again). The leaves were a bit wilted today but I think it was just thirsty because I watered about an hour ago and they’re perking up a bit and feeling less soft. Other than that, the soil is well draining, it gets good light from a south facing window (4 ft from window), humidity ranges from mid 30s to mid 40s percent. Any ideas on what could be the cause of the leaf death? Is it just bouncing back from the root rot / repotting?
Thoughts on the issue? These are two large leaves at the bottom of the plant facing away from the window. Should I just chop those two off and allow the good stuff to grow?
such a good feeling watching this thing grow 🤩
Can anyone give me some tips on how to tell when it’s time to water my Thai Con? It’s new to my collection and I’m terrified of overwatering it and causing root rot. *EDIT* it’s also in the same potting mix it came in as it’s still acclimating to its new home. The mix it’s currently in is not super chunky (it looks to be more regular potting mix than anything else)
Hi there! Please help, what’s wrong with this monstera and how do I better cure it? The app says it’s underwatered, so I’ll try to water it more often and see if it helps. What do you think?
