two week (plus a couple days 😅) update!! the arial root took off! it’s sooo big now and there are a couple little baby roots starting to come out of that. I couldn’t believe how much it grew in the week I was gone, I’m excited to see how much it grows when I’m gonna again next month.

first time using a moss pole on this deliciosa cutting, no aerial roots yet though. how often should I be misting the moss pole? I’m in 9b Florida so it dries out fairly quickly after each time. I’ve considered watering the pole itself with a globe but I don’t wanna overwater the plant. any tips?

I’m so glad to have found this chat group. I adore Monsterra’s and finally got one almost 2 years ago. It started pretty small. I’ve seen one leaf with a small hole in it, but still haven’t seen any fenestrations. Should I be more patient? I’ve got it in a pretty good window. My only concern is the heat/ac vent that is by it. I can see some aerial roots starting to come out. I’ve read that’s pretty standard too. Wondering if anyone has any tips, and maybe some advice on encouraging fenestrations… unless I just need to be more patient 😊

Hi! Here’s my first monstera Thai Luna Lady. I’ve had her a about a month now and she’s growing a new leaf! 😃 But… why is the bottom leaf yellowing? I use distilled water and she’s in a very light soil mix of orchid bark, perlite, etc. A local plant store in KC potted her for me.

**anyone think it could be a rhaphidophora tetrasperma that’s just barely getting fenestrations?** I got a cutting from this plant from work, and I can’t tell if it’s a philodendron or Monstera… it looks like a philodendron type vibe structure, but the few leaves with the single split are confusing me! Planta and google haven’t been able to help either… help!

Someone help me, will this fix itself?

Just saved it from an ACE but it is my first. What would you do to start helping the state its in? Soil is dry and on the firmer side. Leaves are soft but don’t feel normal if that makes sense? Please help!

Just repotted some cuttings from water to potting soil, should I keep soil wet or let it dry out? Left it under mama plant for now but wonder if I should take them out from the shadow soon? Thanks in advance 🪴

My beautiful new monstera leaf is finally unfurling 😍😍

My MonsterD is new to my home and I’m uncertain if she should be repotted. There are a lot of visible roots at the surface and warped roots at the base of her pot. However, the midsection of the pot is not very full. She is currently putting out two new leaves. Should I wait until she’s more root bound? Should I rinse all the soil she originally came in off, repot with Aroid mix and put her back into the same 1.79 gal pot? Should I remover her without disturbing soil and roots and put in a bigger pot with Aroid mix?
