Hi everyone!! I’ve had this Monsterra for almost two years and it’s starting to take over my kitchen.. any advice would be much appreciated🍃🌿🌱 1- I bought a moss pole but she’s so out of control I don’t even know where to start the support. 2- I’ve only propagated a few but never repotted them back. Should I add them back to her pot? 3- she has little new leaves coming in but they’re yellow/green because they’re not getting enough light. any advice? Do I need to separate her? Do you snip off the small new leaves if there’s no room? 4- she has millipedes but online I’ve read it’s fine because they eat dead compost. But sometimes they munch on her good leaves (pictured). Is it okay to leave the millipedes??

More and more yellow/brown patches are coming up. Is it too much or too little water? The first inch or two are usually fluffy/dry in the soil before I add water.

I’ve had this monstera for a few years and it’s always done great. Recently I’ve noticed some weird curling in the lower leaves. What would cause this?

help I don't know what to do. It seems like every Monstera I get hates me. I've gotten some from nurseries some from the big box store some from Trader Joe's. It seems like nothing I do. They always turn yellow and brown and die. I spray neem I do plant food. I don't water that much yet. I still end up getting root rot and brown Sims. I don't know what to do maybe I'm just not meant for Monstera's :(

Hey y’all! When I was in Hawaii I was fascinated by all the beautiful plants, and it’s what sparked my plant obsession. I don’t know much about plants but remembered this being a Monstera. 2 years later, I finally brought a monstera home but I’m realizing that I don’t think they are the same type?? To me, this leaf shape looks “droopier/more dramatic” and I love the contrast of the bright, almost neon, green stem against the darker green leaves. Would anyone happen to know what this monstera is called? I’d love to have it in my collection. Or is this just an absolutely massive wild “regular” monstera and this is how they look when they get that big? For reference, that’s my grandma’s head in the picture and she’s 5’2, I’m pretty sure these leaves were as tall, if not taller, as her. Sorry if this is a dumb question! Thank you in advance!

This is my monstera, I got her in December and transitioned it to water. It’s been doing great and I’m even getting a new leaf! Question about the holes in leaves: from what I’ve read it sounds like they develop after the leaf has opened and has reached a width large enough to block sunlight from lower leaves. My three largest leaves have no holes, but the smallest one and the new one (I peeked) have holes?? I don’t know much about this plant, do I have a variety that develops differently? Or why would some leaves “bloom” with holes while older leaves still don’t have any? TIA!

Hey guys, I’ve recently received this monstera, it arrived fairly dry but with lovely soft leaves. Before I could water it the leaves had started folding inwards and becoming quite rigid, almost like I could snap one if I pressed against them, this happened within about 30 minutes of unboxing it. I watered the plant until the water meter read fairly moist but it hasn’t improved. I somehow manage to look after dozens of other house plants but always have issues with my monsteras. Is this normal behaviour/does it look healthy in the image? It’s about 20ft from a south facing wall of windows, but it has an artificial light on it for 12 hours a day (though this plant dosnt have a proper grow light, just a standard light) Humidity is around 60%

My monstera adansonii has some leaves that are turning yellow around the edges and tips, along with a few brown tips. I water when the soil is about half dry and it’s been sitting about a foot from a north facing window. Does anyone know if this is a problem with light or water? Or maybe temperature?

Anyones monstera just slow growing ? Great light, good fertilizer , good soil and great roots that fit the pot, no pests, at some point this plant even had a grow light and still the quickest ive ever gotten a leaf was 6 monthsss apart 😆

My first post here ! This is my second monstera as a newbie to plant parent life 🤓 she’s a Thai constellation , should she be in a bigger pot ? And is there anyway to get rid of the browning spots ? I just got her today !

Hello! I received a clipping in November of a monstera and it was doing ok, then not so well it lost a big leaf and the bottom had a little rot and I dipped it in wax to seal it and it seemed to help but now I’m trying to see what my next steps should be there is rot where it was sealed off before but has a lot of roots and also roots from the ‘main bulbous stem?’ Not sure what it’s called and a baby leaf developing should I cut anything off, pot it or keep it going as is or reseal the rot after cutting some off? Any help will help 🥲 thank you and here are some pictures
