Why are they doing this? Normally means not enough water, but I had just repotted them a week or so ago after trimming them down significantly due to root rot. Leave me alone, these guys are hard. I have watered them since after a few days. I put little to none coco coir in their soil, so it’s pretty much just bark, chips, charcoal, perlite, and worm castings. Should I add a bit more coir? I felt like I added too much last time and that was why it was rotted. Should I try using regular soil? In the thoughts that it would give it more compactness but dry out faster? Or are they maybe just traumatized from the trimming and all, or maybe just beyond saving? What should I do/ what would you guys do?

Hi friends! I picked this monstera up at Walmart within the last few weeks and I love it so much. It has been happy and growing new leaves! 😍 I went out of town last week for a trip and came home and noticed these brown spots on the bottom of its leaves. It’s possible they were there before and I just didn’t notice, this is my first monstera! They do wipe off like dust/dirt-ish material but they leave behind faded yellow spots. What are they? What should I be doing to help? It also has this very large spot on this leaf in the photo when I brought it home. All tips and advice appreciated!! Thanks!!!

Hey guys! After getting this Thai from Walmart I found he wasn’t getting enough light? I assume from the brown patches. Or nutrients, I can’t tell :( the majority of the leaf is green so I know it’s still benefiting but very slowly has gotten more brown. I JUST relocated this guy today after rearranging, should I cut it now or wait?

Hey I was just wondering if anybody knew whether the green bit on the stem further down is a leaf or a node?

Hello Monstera Maniacs: I need some help; I want to know how I can properly cut my monstera in order to propagate her. I have had this monstera for about 4yrs and last month she went under stress loosing some new leaves and I ended up cutting what was death and kept just only this three leaves. I really wan t to do this the right way and give her a chance so I would like to prune it correctly and give her a chance and also to help this one keep growing healthy. Any help and visuals please lol Highly appreciated

Can someone tell me why these leaves are so weak and wobbly along with their stems? They aren’t new leaves. I’ve had the plant for quite a while but just recently decided I was going to be a good plant mom and give them better care! The rest of the leaves look good and strong but I want to avoid creating more of these sad ones.

My monstera seems to have three separate plants in the pot I bought it in. Should I separate the plants or leave them in the pot altogether.

Treated myself to a Monstera Albo, repotted straight away and added a moss pole. Grow light is due to be delivered today. Fingers crossed she will perk back up 🤞🏻

I’ve never done anything to get this buddy under control. Seems generally okay except feels kinda gangly and sprawling. Any tips?
