Hello I am new to taking care of a monsters but not new to plants in general. We got this as a baby like 3-4 weeks ago and it’s thriving. This light green big leave is completly new. My questions is now if it’s too early to set up a moss pole? Does that only makes sense once the aerial roots start?

Would you recommend providing support for this monstera or leave it like that? :)

Should I start over? I found this Monstera half dead crawling out of the planter in full sun - in FL! It’s now been over 1 year and she’s thriving- even producing fruit!! She has giant leaves and is healthy but so misshaped and impossible to steak and she’s due for a repot… thanks!

I got this albo monstera in the mail today and I'm trying to figure out if this is just sun damage from the seller or if it has something else going on

Hi! This lovely was a rescue from an under-watered (I think) situation at my local BJ’s. Close-up and full plant photos for context. The leaf looked like this, but more tightly furled, when I got it over a month ago. It looks like it’s trying to unfurl, but I’m wondering what I can do to help or if it’s too late. If it’s too late, do I just leave it or what do I do with it? I’m new to Monsteras and appreciate any advice- thanks!

I may have left my monstera in the shower for a bit too long and this morning I woke up checked on her and noticed what I think is fungus gnats. Any remedies? I put a layer of cinnamon on top 😭

Hey guys! I was given this monstera Thai march 26th and now I’m trying to revive it. The roots were sketchy at best and I decided to give it a go by potting it in a chunky mix. I have a SANSI bulb for 12 hours a day on it and since it really hasn’t done much. The new leaf has not budged and the dark spot on the top has gotten a little worse. I’m going to keep monitoring it and watering as needed but when would it be worth doing a root check? When could I expect the plant to do something? Very new to all of this so thank you!

Hello! I recently got a monstera bulbasaur tissue culture from a mystery bag at a local plant show last week. I followed the instructions but I’m a bit worried as the only other monstera I have is my Thai constellation that I got when I was much more established. Does it seem to be doing well, I’m trying to acclimate it as the instructions say but I also plan on keeping it in my indoor greenhouse for as long as I can. I was also wondering if anyone could help me with a watering schedule since it’s so young and in a more humid environment. It was only 25 dollars but it’s my first tissue culture and I want it to thrive so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!!

These roots aren’t squishy but they don’t seem healthy to me….underwatering or something else?

Fenestration Station!! This is my first and only monstera child, well technically they’re step brothers that make up one potted plant. Started him from two different single-leaf propagations gifted from friends about a year ago. He’s been growing steadily but only in the last few months did I start seeing fenestrations - so exciting! So far 3 leaves have got them, 1st one was just 4 fenestrations, next was 5, and a third one just revealed himself after some trauma last week. During repot day we had a wrestling match as I tried to get the two set perfectly opposite one another with spines aligned against the pole. I won in the end but, the new leaf that hadn’t unfurled yet took some bruises. I was worried I might lose it between the beating and repot shock. BUT this baby emerged with EIGHT fenestrations!!! Feeling proud 🄹 (of him, not me lol)
