Are my shoots dead? What is happening? I have one shoot growing beautifully and then I haven’t noticed this one even grow anymore than it has! Then I have a small leaf? Is that normal?

Today I bought a monstera plant (monstera adansonii). The tag says small stature variety, does this mean it will not grow much bigger? Also, can someone explain why monstera plants sometimes have different leaves? Some leaves are complete and others have slits and mine have holes

This new lead my monstera is pushing out has brown spots on it. It also pushed out another leaf with no brown spots- I recently moved my monstera from monstera from my covered patio to back inside my room. I live in Texas so we have a lot of humidity. Could the brown areas be an indication that it needs more humidity?

just repotted my baby, which has been growing alright but had a little bit of root rot (hopefully i got rid of it all) there are four plants in the pot though, and i’m wondering if that will be an issue. i’ve had this monstera for a few months now & it hasn’t really been a problem - at least i don’t think. any advice?

Rescued this baby monstera from Home Depot. It had a developing leaf that was unfurling but browning… now it’s repotted and unfurled… wondering if I should prune it? Thoughts?

New monstera mom here. I have two cats, that haven't attempted to get at my cat friendly plants. They are all on top of shelves about 3- 4 feet from the floor. I have wanted a monstera thai con for so long. I finally found one for $35. I know they want to grow big. I did a lot of reading about keeping it on the smaller side. So my understanding is yearly pruning of roots, and pruning New leaves as needed. I don't really want to go bigger than a 8-9 inch pot as I need to keep it off the floor and out of reach from my cats. I feel like this is frowned upon, but it's the only way I'll be able to enjoy having the plant. Just wondering if anyone has done something similar and can provide advice. Please no comments along the lines of I shouldn't have gotten it with cats, or I shouldn't have gotten it if I don't want it to grow huge. This is why I waited to find one at the price I did. If after a while it's not working out for me, I'll gift it or sell it. Thanks in advance!

When your Thai Con pushes out the ugliest little half leaf but you’re proud of her bc of where she pushed it out of! She pushed this through the calluses end where she was cut to chop n prop😍 that makes this her prettiest leaf in my opinion!

Omg it’s happening!!! I’ve had this Thai for about 2 months now and I haven’t seen any new growth. I’ve moved it from window to window and I just haven’t seen any sign that it likes me 🫣 2 weeks ago I replanted her with some fresh soil, new huge pot and moved her under a grow light…. Now she’s giving me a new leaf!!! 🪴💚🤗

Brand new Monstera mom and I don’t want to mess her up 🫣 Picked up this pretty lady at my local nursery. Only thing I’ve done is taken her out of her nursery pot and put her in this pot with an aroid mix soil. The configuration of all the stems is how I got her. I’ve been reading a lot of posts and watching a lot of YouTube videos and I learned support is important. I was planning on giving her a wee bamboo stake to start out, but I am a little confused on where the back is? My best guess is where I put that pink dot, but I wanted to run it by people who knew more than me 😅

I may have got a baby Monstara ….. I really don’t have room lol but she was too cute to pass up and I had points so it was basically free I got two plants (strawberry begonia ) and the Monstera for only 9.00!

New monstera parent looking for advice! I just brought this baby home from Sam’s Club for only $17, so I’m very happy. But sadly some of her bigger leaves look like they’ve been torn off or damaged from transport. Do I need to cut these off? I’m afraid of damaging her further. I’ve also bought a plank of wood to use as support, but I’m not sure how best to do that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 😁

I started watering my Monsteras with fertilizer and they already look happier! I would definitely recommend this business ! Pictures - my Monstara and the fertilizer!
