Happy Friday!!! Should I be worried? 😟
Sprinkle some cinnamon on it and then tape a short straw on that area. This will keep it from breaking completely off and help it heal
3 J'aimeThank you so much! I really appreciate your help ☺️
1 j'aimeYour very welcome, but I can't take the credit for that one. I've warched a lost of videos/read and this is one of the suggestions/hacks I learned. Nothing fool proof but you never know until you try it. After a week or 2 post a picture so we can to see how it's doing.
0 J'aimeThat’s alright and yes, I definitely will 😁
1 j'aimeHow is your Monstera doing?
0 J'aimeHas the leave shown any signs of dieing or wilting?
0 J'aimeAwesome!
1 j'aimeI appreciate your help! I’ll send a pic once I remove the straw
1 j'aimeYour welcome, can wait to see it
1 j'aimeSo I took the straw off to see how it was doing and it wasn’t doing too good 😞 it looked worse than what it was, barely hanging on by a thread. So I wrapped it back up. But the leaf still looks good. I think I’ll leave it wrapped up for a while
0 J'aimeOh no, I'm sorry. I wonder why the leaf still looks good the break doesn't.
0 J'aimeI bought a half dead Polka Dot Bagonia. Iwas going to try it on one of the leaves but I ended casuing it to come completely off.
0 J'aimeYea the leaf was hair thin close to coming apart so it’ll stay wrapped up until the leaf starts going downhill. I used honey though (couldn’t find the cinnamon). Says that honey Acts as a natural antiseptic and rooting stimulant. You can dab a bit on the break to protect the tissue and encourage healing.

0 J'aime☺️ I cut about an inch below the break and put some honey on it to help reduce the risk of infection and promote clean healing so we’ll see.
