can i prop all 5 cuttings in the same jar? i’m just water propping until root growth and then i’ll be putting into leca
Are these enough roots to consider potting? In the UK, so been sloowwww root growth
chopping & propping my monstera…. can/will the stubs grow? or should i just toss it?
i just wanted to show off this thing, she gave me 3 new leaves at once after repotting her in my own soil mix :) i think she’s happy lol
My cat just bit off my monstera white monster leaves! I’m so upset!!! Any advice to keep her healthy? Grow new leaves?
what is wrong with my monstera cutting? i picked it up yesterday from someone on marketplace. the other leaves are fine. i just put it in lecca, hopefully that helps?
Just replaced the pole with a moss pole. Had to re tie all vines and branches. Let’s see how she reacts. Looks much better already
Ahhhh!!! My largest, most beautiful Monstera Deliciosa leaf broke off this morning. My fault entirely. To be fair I bought this plant from Walmart and that leaf has hanging on by a thread. Most of the cut was already hardened over. Can I propagate the leaf? Would should I do about the stem that is left on the plant? I assume I should cut it off? I know the plant is a bit of a mess, I recently added a moss pole and I repotted it in chunky soil (it came in pure coco coir).
I have been wanting a monstera mint for a loooooong time. I finally brought one home today!!! So excited about it ☺️
Brought a Peru home. Helpppp! 😆
Helppp 😩😩 ever since the temperature lowered and the snow has been falling, my plant has been suffering and I don’t know what to do ??
TC excitement! 🌿 Picked up two Monstera deliciosa White Monster tissue cultures and got them settled into their domed homes. One is very high white fingers crossed 🤞 and the other has a greener marbled look that I’m really excited to see mature. Not the prettiest dome photos yet so I included some in bag pics from when they arrived. Acclimating slowly with high humidity and bright indirect light and now we wait 😅
Help me help her! I propagated then planted this beautiful small adansonii (circled in first pic) and gifted her to my mom. A year and a half later she brings me this heartbreak asking for help. She had some semblance of a grow light. Probably not the best access to natural light and I can bank on her not being watered regularly. Definitely no humidity. The whole plant is one single, very long, bald, pale stem 😢 Aside from my first task of watering what’s next? How do I revive her and make it full again? To chop and prop? But that would leave just a stem sticking out of the pot. Chop and prop the whole plant and start over? Suggestions? What would you do? (Added the last pic for fun. My girl, Roxi, I call her my little plant witch. She follows me and inspects all my plants when I’m doing plant chores. I put this plant on the table for a pic and guess she figured a toy might cheer up it up 💚)
Please help! A big piece of my huge monstera easily just broke off the root and I’m scared she’s gonna die if I don’t repot her properly. Should I put her in water to help the root system come back because she has no roots or should I immediately put her in soil?
my favorite corner currently 🫶🏼💚
New leaf opening on my Facebook Marketplace Albo, Albérto! Cannot wait to see the fenestration’s and the variegation when it opens… stay tuned!
My new Monstera, Jenny, I got a couple months ago grow a new leaf, and I’m so proud of her
The leaves on my cheese plant have recently started to turn yellow and die. I've got no clue if I'm over watering, under watering... I did just repot it within the last few months, and had to cut it out of it's pot, so I don't know if it's fallout from that? Any ideas or advice much appreciated!
Hi everyone! 👋🌱 I’m back again with another question, I’m a total newbie when it comes to caring for houseplants, but after all the amazing feedback on my last post, I’ve repotted my mini Swiss cheese into a much better mixed substrate that actually supports drainage properly. 🙌 I’ve attached a photo of her below she’s looking cute, but I’d really appreciate any tips or advice on how to keep this plant happy long-term. Things like watering habits, light preferences, humidity, fertilising… anything at all you think a beginner should know! Thank you again to everyone who helped me on my previous post you were all so kind, and I’m genuinely loving learning from this community. 💚 Looking forward to your tips!
