hi friends!
I have this monstera adansonii, i watered her a couple of days ago and woke up to find a mushroom friend growing! I keep her in my bathroom (very hot and humid) so it’s perfect for fungi to grow but ive never had one in a plant!
should I remove it? is it dangerous to the plant? any tips are appreciated :)

Would a monstera do well near an eastern facing window? I would love to get one and that is the only place left to place one. It would be to the side of the window, next to it and less than a foot away, so probably no direct sunlight but good indirect light. I want to sneak one into my house when I go back to the plant nursery on Monday. (as if my family wouldn’t notice a monstera lol)
Also, the one I am eyeing up has several aerial roots. Is that a good sign of a healthy monstera, and is it OK to remove them?

Hello everyone, I am new to the plant community and I have this gorgeous Monstera named Marissa. We call her Rissa for short.
Anyway, my lovely gal is starting to get these black spots on her and I was wondering why, what should I do about it, and should I cut those spots off or leave them?
Pls help save rissa!

I’ve just had a check on my monstera thai and the soil was absolutely soaking but i’ve been following the instructions of the app and i’m worried it’s killing my little baby. I have mixed some old dry soil with the wet soil i managed to get off, no sign of root rot yet but i’ve had 3 baby leaves bloom and die off and wonder if this is the reason. My prayer plant also seems quite wet but not as wet as my monstera.
Anyone else had issues like this?

Hey everyone ! So I just got my first Monstera ( Thai Constellation to be exact ). I recently just got the plant 3 days ago extremely healthy with a new leaf unfolding . Now that the new leaf has unfolded I notice that it is kinda droopy . Any recommendations for if I did anything wrong ? It is in low sunlight gets a good amount water (for what I think) . It does stand straight just the leaf is down . (First picture is when bought it second is current)

So i just spent more money on this Kunzo white monster than i thought id ever spend on a houseplant... It arrived in a 9cm pot & has a long way to go! Has anyone got any advice for care, or would this be pretty similar to my routine for a thai / albo?

Hellllp. I got this baby Swiss cheese Monstera. I put in direct sun (East facing) it got sun burnt leaves. (I assume from the brown spots). Set it back for indirect sun, now the main leaf is yellowing, wilted and dying. Do I cut half of the main leaf or will it kill the whole thing?
It is putting out a new leaf (middle right) The last new leaf got stuck and died (I was on vacation). Should I take it out and just Hydro? Can they hydro?

My monstera was outgrowing the spot it was in, it was starting to over power the spot actually!
Because it had a window above it, the last few leaves have been reaching up (old spot in second photo). Today I moved it in front of this window (first photo).
Will the leaves eventually face forward toward the light here or these ones set in their ways now?

A friend of mine was gifted a large Monstera about a month ago, after struggling with where to put it in her home and her AC damaging the leaves, she asked me to rehome it. I’ve never had a Monstera before and I’m looking for some advice on how to ensure that it has the best home here. When she transported it to my house, many of the leaves got bent on the stem. Other leaves have crispy black spots that were caused by her AC. I’ve cut off all the leaves that were completely black, but I’m just looking for some advice on what to do to possibly strengthen the stems that have been bent in transport. Also, what to do with the leaves that have some black marks, but not the majority. I don’t want to significantly cut back the plant, for fear of shocking it too much after it just changed locations again after only a month. Thank you for your help!

Hi! I’m hoping for some advice on my monstera. I feel like it might be overcrowded, there’s about six plants within one 12 inch pot. I’ve had it for about two years and just repotted it for the first time about two months ago. Despite many hours of trying I wasn’t able to separate the plants during that time. The only issues I’ve noticed is that there’s a lot of overlap of the leaves and one of the plants is backwards. It’s relatively healthy, the roots looked good when I repotted it and it very regularly puts out new leaves. Should I do something about the overcrowding or just leave it unless it becomes a problem? Thanks so much for any answers and advice!
Yup
Should I be concerned

Love seeing a new edition coming in. It’s my favorite thing to see. 😍 This is my Monstera Deliciosa cutting that’s propagating in Sphagnum Moss.

Please help!! Does anyone know what has happened/ how to save this leaf??

I wanted to share this cause it makes me laugh 😂
I propagated this tiny leave off my monstera months ago, before I knew about propagating. It doesn’t have a node, but it grew roots. So it’s continuing to live, but will never get any bigger. So I just have this tiny leaf that just hangs out here that will be infinitely tiny 😂

Hi! I just got a Thai Constellation the other day and wondering how to know if I should repot it. It's got a handful of roots coming out of the bottom of the pot already and it looks like it might be a smidge rootbound, but not sure if Thais mind that or not. Just recently got into house plants and this is my first monstera. Thank you!

I just got this monstera oblíqua
What do you think is a fair price for it?

It looks like my Thai Constellation has thrips. The bottom leaves are yellowing rather quickly, and I did find at least one bug that I believe is a thrip. It’s also being treated for fungus gnats, which I’ve added traps and a soil cover (stones) for. Could it possibly be overwatered at the same time? I plan to treat with neem oil ASAP. Any other suggestions? I hate thrips - they’re on a few other plants too. Thanks!
