Hi all! This is my first monstera and I’m unsure of how to best support her as she grows. I got her about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I decided to add a support pole for her (I don’t like it and plan to change it eventually but figured this will at least help start training her to grow up in the direction I want her to) so here’s where I need help. It looks like she has at least three main stems and they all face a slightly different direction. I’d like to try to get her to face one way or at least look like she’s mostly facing one way. I was able to get all 3 main stems gently attached to the support. But would it be better to get a wider more trellis style support OR should I repot her and try to separate into 3 plants? (Yes she has a grow light and is near a window, the window is northeast and doesn’t get any direct light and is shaded by the house next door and our garage so not enough light without the grow light)

Is this monstera rare? I found it at Walmart today and thought it was pretty. Also found twenty plus pink princess, and even Carmel marble philodendron.

Advice needed. I have three plants in this one pot. I can separate the three but where should I chop and prop? Ideally I want to give each of the three main plants proper poles to climb in the future but should I chop off the bottom nodes currently in the soil into separate babies? There’s a rock in the pot literally there to keep this from tipping over. I had health issues that kept me from helping this plant sooner but I can do it now.

Bought this Monstera just under a year ago! 7-8 new leaves since 🌱🪴 (definitely needs a repotting) I didn’t realise they grew so fast!!

I’ve been wanting to do this Thai Constellation Monstera up “properly” for months now and I finally did it today! 👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉🥳🥳 Just in time for peak growing season. AND. I even refrain from murdering my cat pistachio when I went to grab something and came back to find him munching on the leaves. 😱😱 The little 💩 Now I’m eyeing all my plants for the next victim.

Help please! I had 2 choices....chop and prop or watch it just die. This is what is left. Not sure how to proceed. I have roots, but either no leaves or yellow leaves. Do I plant them, throw in a prop box until they are stronger, keep in water for awhile??? I have struggled with this plant for 2 years!!

No plant to show you, that's not the point of this post. I have to share this tip because it is an absolute game changer to kick start your monstera's growth. Wrap your sphagnum moss pole, use a clear bag over the top and cling film around it to keep moist sealed in longer. The difference in root growth is jaw dropping. You will see a dramatic change in the ease of care and root growth in very short period of time.

Hi everyone I’m new to the community page on this app! I’ve had my Thai Con since 7/2025, my first monstera of any kind! I’ve started using a vertical grow light over the winter and it’s worked well. I’m finally getting a new leaf since 9/2025! But I can tell my leaves are getting larger and they are almost falling/growing forward which makes me nervous. I’d ideally like it to grow a little taller rather than forward but not sure if that matters. My grow light is about 2.5ft away. Any tips? Please be nice to me 😂

Update on Mike- He now has a moss pole to keep him upright, also as I’m new to this, I discovered there is 4 main spines in this 1 plant! So I had to put smaller stakes in and tie them to hold them in place. Hopefully they will all turn eventually to face the same way 🤞🏻 If anything looks wrong please let me know! 🌱🪴

Cut this mint back a while ago because the newest leaves were losing variegation and starting to push greener than I wanted. Ended up activating two new growth points and now both are throwing almost fully ghost spears 😅 Definitely wasn’t expecting this level of variegation after the cut back. The older leaves still have enough green and marbling to support it so I’m just letting it do its thing for now. Interested to see whether these open fully ghost or if there’s hidden mint marbling inside once they unfurl 👀
