hello fellow monstera freaks! my monstera is TALL. the first node (?) doesn’t start until where my finger is in that second pic. i would like to shorten her - is it okay to cut below one of the aerial roots (where my hand is in 3rd pic)? appreciate any help!!
I was given this monstera for my birthday and she’s beautiful but I don’t know what kind it actually is.. is it a Thai constellation? could someone help me out? 🙂
Just wanted to show off the progress of my Monstera over the last 4-5 months alone!! 😭 she’s doing so well 🙌🫶
So, I move soon (excuse the mess lol) and this baby has grown over triple the size it was when I got it back in March 😂 for the sake of having an easier time moving her to my new place and continuing to manage the growth, what should I do? I fully realize she’s gotten a bit out of hand and needs a repot, but I was enjoying the fullness of the plant with all the leaves so I kept everything. But now that the newest leaves are getting super tall (and I’m moving), I thought it may be time to separate parts even though I’m sure the roots are insanely tangled lol. What would you do??? HELP lol
I think I may have accidentally over watered my other monstera. What can I do? Also the water that is coming out of it is brown. Is that normal? Thanks!
did i attach my monstera to the pole correctly? i tried my best but its growing all over the place
Does anyone know why the stem of my newest Albo leaf is turning brown?
Please Help! What is the best way to tie my monstera to the post? Are they supposed to grow up? out? Should.i only tie the largest stems?
1, 2, 3(!) new leaves 😍
Help! Having issues with my monstera that’s never given me problems in 3 years. First photo is when I first moved into this new apartment a l little over year ago — it gets bright indirect sunlight mostly in the mornings (like it did at my last place) and I’m definitely not overwatering it. I did fertilize it once which started the initial decline and I don’t think it’s fully recovered since (lost a bunch of leaves at first, but then seemed to be doing better). Second photo is today, it hasn’t pushed out any new growth except once small leaf without fenestrations and is yellowing at the tips. I just moved it to another location that gets more bright indirect sunlight throughout the day. Should I be repotting to get rid of soil it may not like?
Got my first monstera today 💚
The difference 2 years can make! I was so excited when I got her and she hasn’t disappointed 🥰
The baby is about to pop out 🧍🏽♀️🤸🏽♂️🧍🏽♀️

So… I snapped my Monstera Deliciosa stem. I was in the process of re-attaching it to a stake so it could grow up ur rather than along, and didn’t realise how delicate it is! I don’t have pictures of the actual break, but the first picture is how I’ve taped it together as per some internet advice. Has this happened to anyone? Is there any hope? At what point should I give it up and take cuttings? The second picture is the stem, I’ve got some good nodes/aerial roots. Any advice is welcome!
Hi guys! Newbie over here obsessed with Monsteras. I need help! Does this look right? I’m not sure if the roots are out?
Hi guys. What does it mean when the small leaves at the bottom of a monstera are yellow? Thank you 😊
My Albos Newest Leaf
Hi all! I’m still a newbie plant mom but my monstera got a brown spot on one of her leaves. Do I have to cut off this leaf or just leave it?
