So I have some plants in a room with an east facing window and they are on shelves that are a good 6-8 ft away from the window that don’t seem to be getting enough light. Does anyone have any recommendations for good plant lights that are cordless? TIA
My husband recently put in a window for me it’s southeast facing and gets absolutely beautiful direct light from sunrise until about 1pm. Soon a second window will go in same wall! I won’t admit that the new windows are for my plants but they kinda are. Can’t wait until the wall has drywall up, painted and finished. It will look so beautiful with my plants. Bonus, my cat likes the window as you can see
I just cleaned all the leaves of my babies and I’m very happy with the little set up and yes my Halloween decor is all year long lol👻
Got my new plant stands today. Now just got to order more grow lights lol I might put them together now.
Too much gnats and bugs, so building my patio dining space to a garden den. Moved all plants slowly in the last 2 weeks, to see if Arizona winter hurts them. Added grow light in ceiling today. Heater as well with thermostat. Now we wait!!! Fingers crossed no one dies!

I have cats who chomp so I feel best having my plants out of their reach. Found these display boxes and they work perfectly! Next step is cord management!

Ran out of room storing my plants on the dining room table so upgraded to these shelves. The best part is there’s so much room for more plants now!
New lil corner
Just bought my first 4 plants and I want to create a plant room out of my office. How do I plan the space out? What shelves to get where etc. Feeling overwhelmed but I want to get started! 😅
So I just bought this awesome light from Sansi, but Sansi doesn’t sell just the tripod. What do you use for your Sansi lights? I need a sturdy stand that works with this light. Thank you in advance!
Got sidetracked while refinishing some furniture pieces. Ended up rearranging all my plants lol with my big haul the other day of almost 20 new plants, I just kinda shoved them into places lol that chaos was driving me crazy and I need some order to it. Idk what the order is yet, but they’re in a spot now haha. Yes the cluster of tables looks chaotic haha. It is. But it’s less chaotic than it was. I’m waiting for my new shelving units to arrive for that wall. We’re going vertical! Then I just have to rearrange plants again cause all my big plants are over there and they’ll be in the way
So I suppose it’s probably time to say goodbye to Ms. Calathea Medallion. She was part of my first group of plants. I had zero knowledge of plants when I got her. This marks plant death number 3 for me since starting my plant journey in July 2025. This just proves how stubborn Calatheas can be lol cause her sister , Ms. Calathea Pink Star, endured the same painful upbringing from me, but she adapted, endured and persevered lol she still has flashbacks of the never ending (so dramatic, it was 4 hours lol) burning August sunshine singeing her and her sisters leaves till they closed up. And me not knowing any better, just brought them inside cause playtime was over (I was done cleaning up the yard) and went on about my day. The past few months both Calatheas have been in recovery. It’s only survival of the fittest around here. When things get hard you have to be able to handle your own. Clearly the medallion didn’t get the memo cause she was to busy in the mirror telling everyone to look at her leaves dancing in the air. Anywho, Ive known for a while it was time to let medallion go, I just left her there as a testament to the other Calatheas on that shelf that this could be you. Don’t ever think that it couldn’t be you. And I think that works because I’ve had zero issues out of the others. Just new leaves left and right haha. Good morning from NYC! Seeking suggestions from the BOP club. My BOP is on its second life after my sister (expert green thumb) revived it for me. Its has grown back to its previous size, about 4 1/2 feet tall. However I recently learned i have it in too shallow of a pot. Does anyone have any size (depth / diameter) recommendations for a very happy BOP @ this size? (Current pot is 10in deep)
I now live in an oasis, and my dog has a giant water bowl lol one of my marketplace finds today for $30.
Good morning. Soooo went plant crazy yesterday. Came home with 16 new plants and some cuttings. I’m thinking of getting 1 or 2 standing shelf units. I have two walls that’s I can definitely go vertical on. The picture with all the plants in the tables, well that very front table are the plants I got yesterday. I’m getting 5 more today lol. Anyways. You think those big shelf units from Amazon would be ok? Included pic of unit. I’ll get my own grow lights as I need more anyway lol
