I just got this vanilla bean orchid today… her name is Mrs. Been! I’m very proud. This is my early Mother’s Day present… and everybody on here knows that I love a good deal when it comes to plants.. I got her for $80 at Tallahassee nurseries versus $200 online!!

Does anyone else have this plant? She’s one of my favorites. 🩷 🪴 She’s a Birken Galaxy. I’ve seen several of the regular philodendron Birken’s with the larger leaves, but I have never seen this variety with the smaller leaves. Anyone?

It’s been growing season around my house the past month. We have a umbrella tree my mom gave us about a year ago. I love taking progress updates photos. One of the new stems grew 7 leaves!

My aquarium and riparian set up! My Scindapsus pictum and Raphidophora tetrasperma have been thriving as surface plants, great for the nitrogen cycle! :)
