Ordered this philodendron joepii and the shipment was caught in the winter weather for two days longer than intended. Chemical hot back and styrofoam seem to have been inadequate. 🙃 Big big chops, supports, and a small heating pad. Not giving up yet.

Added some more Platycerium staghorn fern species to my collection. I have ordered from a neat Etsy shop twice now, that goes above and beyond to package them so well despite the frigid temps here in Canada. I now have 6 different types. I really like mounting them as it ends up looking like an art piece too. I also highly recommend this plastic cage I tried for the first time on one. Perfect for anyone new to mounting staghorn ferns for sure!! If you are in Canada and interested in checking out the Etsy shop it is called FormosaImportsCA.

Going to repot in lechuza self watering pots my anthurium crystallinum alocasia longiloba and my alocasia elephant ear what is the best substrate to use can I use just pon from lechuza or other substrate

new plant baby! Ironically that a plant as pretty ad this is called a dumb cane (Dieffenbachia). My last child should be delivered tomorrow and then this plant mama is tying her tubes or should I say wallet 😂
