Wooo! First community post! Here’s my plant space!
Only 1 month apart, I had to move things around to make space for it
Kinda simple but still one of my favorite plants💗 She never gives me any trouble & is always putting out new leaves.
Do you see what I see? 🤩
My cabinet has finally gotten a new plant friend 🌿
Plant momma less than a Year. The plant count keeps going up as I learn more and more. I can’t say how many plants there are, as my husband is in the room. Lol…. Have two babies I’m proud of at the moment. My rubber tree started dropping its leaves soon after bringing it home last Oct. look at it now! I got this Little Rock about a month ago and was surprised with a bloom!
New leaf coming in on my ‘prince of orange’ philo is such a stunning color! 😍
Do you have a plant that you nearly killed and were able to revive? Well, IMO, an experience like this brings maximum satisfaction to a plant person. l'm so happy to share a picture of my Pilea cadierei also known as Aluminum plant. I'd nearly killed it by overwatering. It was left with stems that would rapidly shed leaves even the new ones. Thankfully, it still had healthy roots and I transferred it to a terracotta pot to help it survive. It seems to be happy now.💚🪴
My Maranta is blooming! She’s one of my pride and joys.
Winter blossoms! Yay!!
This macro shot of the cactus needles make them look so innocent and fluffy 🥺 but in reality this exact plant once embedded a needle into my palm that wouldn’t get out… 🌵
The diva that forced me to upgrade from a Detolf that she took over, to a Milsbo. Back in December 2021, I cut it down to a stump because the new leaves kept getting stuck and dying. Kept up the watering schedule, it bounced back and took over the cabinet. This newest leaf is still very soft so I’m curious to see how large it gets.
Snow in the forecast, trying to keep the tropics inside.
Tried propagating peperomia frost in Sphagnum moss! Result: super cute baby peperomia leaves sprouting. The big leaf I used is all yellow and might wither away soon. But the new leaves will grow and become a beautiful plant. Thank you for looking. Peperomias are fun to propagate since you use a leaf with a little stem and it sprouts new leaves.
This is one of my newest plants. I purchased this bulb of Sinningia and put it in my prop. box. I has sprouted and rooted very well so now it’s time to transplant it to its pot ☺️
Newly acquired Hoya; Hoya Macrophylla Albomarginata. The foliage with the pronounced veins and blend of colors is absolutely gorgeous. The texture of the waxy leaves tells me no need to water this one often. Do you have a favorite Hoya?
These patterns 🥹 and new baby leaf incoming 🍃♥️
A NoID (might be Phalaenopsis “Soft Cloud??” 🤔) rescue from a few years back that grows wild areal roots and leaves and LOTS of lovely little white flowers that sparkle in the light. Currently giving me a show with its spray of flowers for the coming spring. ☺️
Okay, need some help! My Stromanthe Triostar is a “Diva”! It seems like I can’t please her! Inside the house, outside with shade, watering every 4 days or once a week and fertilizer, she wont strive like my others ladies! Can someone help me!
