Local outdoor plant shop had its āgrand reopeningā for fall yesterday. āIāll just go see what they have,ā I said. āā¦and just get one small house plant,ā I said. I should know myself better.
Both of my monsteras gave me new leaves š
Can someone please confirm what this plant is please? I think itās a dracaena fragras but there is no option for this on Planta? What would I put this under please š±
Flowering this morning, to be continuedš„š„
Never seen a plant so visibly upset and happy at the same time.
Found this beautiful prayer plant at the commissary today. I am so excited cause I have been looking for one that didnāt look like it was in poor condition for months now. Also rescued this beautiful jade from the Wally World. And my mom has been watching my orchid and pothos for the last five years. I finally repotted them, and love the spots I put them in. I still have all of my other babies and they are all still doing pretty great for the most part. My money tree is growing back after her near death experience in the move. And I was finally able to move my mom palm back inside that had a little pest issue.
Rescued from a grocery store, I was kinda nervous because i was told itās difficult to grow. But I have had it for about a month or two and it finally has new growth!! I repotted it when I got it, and clipped off the dying parts, I donāt know if you should or shouldnāt do that but I did. It has new growth though so clearly I am doing something right! Iām so excited. Any other advice I can do to help it, or really anything that has worked for other people would be great. I have it currently in our shop/green house. Iāve had it so it gets a lot of sun, and recently found out it doesnāt need/shouldnāt have full sun. But itās been doing really well so I have left it where Iāve had it in the window.
āØMOTHERāØ
This oneās a fighter. We once had these mixed in with a 30 year old overgrown hedge of morning glories and everything else that birds help seed. Well hedge is gone and new side area took its place.. but we still get theses creeping in places that were thought void of the old vegetation. Due to this plants determination to survive Iāll allow a couple to go to flower. But gotta keep them in check as this vine is tenacious ! Honestly I donāt even know what it is. But has these pretty little flowers.
After being in the wrong pot and wrong light for years. Our Guzmania is actually flowering by simply following care tips provided on Planta.

came across this photo of my umbrella plant from 2017 š®āšØ
got this sucker yesterday, hoping to move it into my college dorm, wish me luck!! I sure hope the dorm air doesnāt hurt it too much š . Itās my biggest plant so far (Iāve usually stuck to desk plants and small succulents), but Iāve heard that this plant variety is relatively easy to care for, so Iām not too worried! Let me know what you think of it (I rate it a 10/10 haha). Okay well Iāll LEAF you alone now, good day!
My raindrop peperomia is floweringšš
Aeschynanthus āakaāā¦LipstickšPlant. Having this plant since 2021. Eventually it struggled after a year or so, then I repotted twice in the last two years, and managed to get two plants out of one. Now the bigger one has finally managed to welcome me with its stunning āred lipstickā flower š
So happy with the regrowth on my rubber plant since Iāve planted back in soil⦠love how each new leaf is slightly bigger than the last š„°
My new beautiful prayer plant I was taking pictures of and when I turned around to go inside she fell. Iām so sad! I scooped her all back up sheās looking a little rough but ok. Any tips on keeping them alive though are welcome. Iāve heard these plants are finicky.
lots of cute new growth on this peperomia hope š
