I got annuals from Lowes for a pop of color in cool weather. These are Pericallis. The varieties are Baby Senetti Magenta and Baby Senetti Blue originating from Monrovia nurseries. The colors are more vibrant than shown. The leaves are fuzzy. They like full sun to partial shade, put perfect for my south facing entry. Temperature range for these is 35°F to 80°F which means they bloom now until warm weather arrives like pansies and geraniums in my Zone 9 area. I need colorful plants right now as I pressure wash the black slimy dead leaves off my patio and trim dead branches.

My string of hearts is not only flowering but also producing seeds!!! (I hope that means she’s happy and not stressed/about to die😅)
I’ve had this baby for over a year now and is literally my favorite plant. I’ve never had to use a drainage pot for this plant, never had root rot, never had gnat or bug issues and she sprouts literally daily! I want to get her to crawl up the walls eventually. One of my favorite things about her, is how the leaves glisten/shine 😍😍
I am wondering about my Alocasia elephant ear. It has holes fenestrations. Is that normal? Only in the later mature leaves.
My Christmas cactus is about to bloom for the first time!! I got it as a propagate from a friend over the summer
I got a new baby today I was looking for a heart leaf for a while I have to repot and look for extra damage tonight bc they overwatered it and the outside pot that they had it in didn’t have drainage holes it went through like 7 paper towles when I was trying to get the extra water outta it wish me luck and meet Chocolate!!!!!
Hello beautiful 😍
After 3 months, this zz plant cutting finally rooted!! Thought it was dead for a while tbh
Hi! I’ve had this lil beauty for about 2 years now & this is the first time it’s flowered🫶🏼 Mixed things online say to cut before it flowers or don’t as it may produce babies… what should I do? Will it die if I don’t trim it?
I’m getting a hang of the winter light, y’all. Note that you can buy every piece of this DIY life currently at IKEA. I got an extra black rolling cart for outdoors endeavors, but I gotta get a job and friends at some point this year lol. Moving stuff around and planning for rain is something I’ve yet to automate 🤖🌻⛅️ Ps in this journey, I’ve had the most success with even a few hours of direct sun and then modest grow lights throughout the day. The two small groups on top of the twin cages against the (west) wall is a good example of this. pps part of moving everything around was to clean up whatever disease or bugs might be around from last year. The other part was to keep a little music/photography area on the long table. Did it.
My Steven Universe plant aka bonsai ficus microcarpa
this is my jasmine plant
A while ago I posted this plant on the pests group as it had aphids. Very pleased to say she’s made a wonderful recovery, is shooting new leaves at me and is about ready for a repot 😊
My latest acquisition 🥰 a white wizard philodendron
Budget friendly houseplant decor: grocery bought mango in a $4 thrifted cup + pink plant cutting

😍!!! This plant has been on my wishlist for a long while now and although she was a pricey, impulse buy.. I think it was worth it. 🥰 Could anyone recommend a fertilizer for her and maybe for my peperomia watermelon?
New polka dot plant, zz plant, elephant bush, and little hanging pothos n joy
Does anyone have an opinion on what fertilizer is best for a cat palm? I have all purpose miracle grow (24-8-16). I think it’s a synthetic fertilizer and I was told that palm’s don’t like synthetic fertilizer, and that I need a slow release one. Is this one OK to use you think, or do I have to go to the plant store and pick up a proper one? Google is less then helpful.
This is still my favorite syngonium, syngonium albo. Officially it’s labeled Syngonium albo variegatum ’marble’ on Steve’s Leaves website where I bought the first plant almost a year ago. This plant made me so happy I gradually bought 3 more! The vines waterfall over the edge of a pot making it excellent for a hanging basket. The leaves point upwards. So, it’s great in a pot on a shelf, as well. The leaf stems are a gorgeous pink and green ombré starting with pink at the base of the stem. I found the plant looked good even without repotting. I eventually put 2 in a well draining potting mix. I still have 2 in their original four inch pots. All plants are growing well. So, this plant is good for narrow shelves or where space is limited because they grow well in their 4 inch pots. They will need bright light, regular fertilizer and water when dry to keep them looking great. I underwater a lot this winter to avoid root rot since the plant is growing very slowly right now. The only downside is the cost. They are very popular and priced accordingly! A four inch pot starts from $35 to $50. I have paid more for things that did not make me this happy!🥰💕🪴
