I never entered this false shamrock, Green Oxalis Triangularis, into Planta because I wasn’t confident it would live. It wilted next to a heat pack when it was shipped in March. Now, it’s fully recovered and doing great! I don’t do much except trim the dying leaves, water/fertilize more frequently with the warmer temperatures and put it in full morning sunlight. Its final location will be in full sun next to my purple oxalis plants. I got it from Hirst Garden. I talked to them before ordering to determine if a heat would be needed. I agreed to play it safe and order one. They would determine if the weather along the route would be cold enough to require heated shipping. They would refund if the pack wasn’t used. It was cold enough on shipping day. But, the weather changed after it shipped and it got warmer than expected before the package arrived. The other pl😅

After a long time of not having plants, i finally bought a new baby. I would lile to name her either Ajei (ah- he) meaning My Heart in Navajo or Inanna, the queen of love in the Mesopotamian region. Thoughts?

Picked this up at my local nursery. It wasn't labeled. The clerk thought it was a philodendron, but I disagree. I thought maybe a scindapsus pictus? My daughter thinks it might be an Epipremnum variety. What do you guys think? Planta says it's a monstera. Thanks!

This plant was seriously neglected.. It was left at the house when we moved in. Took off old leaves, started watering properly, and moved it to a better spot for light. The pink looks so cool and there are so many new leaves 🤩

The gold vein oxalis are doing well under a grow light. They started growing their pink flowers. 🌸 I was worried the light would not be bright enough to maintain the variegations. But, they look great. 🍀The leaves fold close at night.

Who here struggles with the Silver Nerve (low light) plant that we ALL buy at Lowes / Home Depot? What drama queens these things are! I have struggled with one for years and it never looks good no matter how much I baby it. Well…..I made this enclosed terrarium for my daughter with a large apothecary jar and started out with one baby green Silver Nerve. Then we added a baby pink one. Then a red one. Look at this! It gets 4 hours of a grown light a day and sits in a dark room the rest of the time. I think my daughter found the key for growing these little buggers!
