Just wanted to show off this Yucca Elephantipes I found at my local wilko reduced to £4.50. The leaves needed a good wipe down from whatever they had been spraying it with, but it’s got pretty great soil and LOADS of new growth coming! Meet Atlas II (my previous Yucca, Atlas, perished). Also if anyone’s got any good tips on keeping a Yucca happy I’d appreciate it because my last Yucca really did suffer and die quickly and I don’t know what I was doing wrong.

I’m enamored with this Elephant Bush (Portulacaria Afra ‘Variegata’)! I got it in October when the stems were easy to see. It’s in an 8 inch pot. It added lots of leaves that are almost hiding all stems! I placed it in a west facing location getting mid afternoon direct sun and heavy shade in the morning. I give it water if I can lift it with one hand. It’s heavy when it has enough water. I’m not good with succulents. Credit goes to this plant.
