This baby used to be covered in wax and doomed to only bloom once but now she can be this beautiful every year! 😍

Ever just feel defeated? Like this isn’t the right hobby for you? I’m beginning to feel that way. This plant used to be so full and pretty and I don’t know what has happened to it, but I had to go through and cut it all up and try and propagate it. So since I failed to keep it full and pretty, I decided to do an experiment. I put some in soil, some in water, and some in Pearlite. Hopefully one of them will survive, but with my luck, I’m pretty sure all of them will die. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What can you do? Before this one my sensitive plant died.

Putting pony beads on new growth, I saw it on a Planta board and thought it was adorable. Two are finally stable and a third one has been planted. It's very exciting, to look over my Porthos every day, looking for new growth, or manipulating a bead so it grows properly. Lots of fun.

My Tractor Seat plants (Farfugium Japonica) are about to bloom for the first time. 🌼🌼🌼 This is my first time owning these wishlist plants. They are perennials that flower from late fall to winter. They like bright shade and use more water than expected especially since they started blooming.
