Black Stem and Polly babies! Corms are so fun to grow, Alocasia have quickly become my favorite!💚

The picture on the right, where you see me holding the plant shows the day I got these pups. Picture on the left is one month later, just freshly potted in soil. It grew so fast!

Meet the newest member of the family, I’m calling her The Queen , cause she’s definitely Regal for an Alocasia Regal Shield…there was a bunch in costco, had to dig away and look for a healthy one, with new growth and no signs of rot or pests.. now in quarantine , gave her a shower and some mild disinfection, lets see how she acclimates🫀

This is my chameleon zz. When I first got it, it was giving me the hardest time- leaves were turning brown, and I even lost a whole stem. I was told it was due to the cold temperatures during shipment. Lately, it’s been ok, though! I recently saw this… is this new growth?? Or am I just being delusional/hopeful? 😂

hi guys, so i have been raising this cactus for 2 years now. i don’t know specifically what kind of cactus he is, but he has little pink/red buds coming out of him that look like they’re going to eventually bloom. does anyone have any idea what species he could specifically be?

Quick AM photoshoot with my new plant bbs in quarantine in my bathroom. Treated with systemic granules, insecticidal spray, and neem oil spray as a welcome to the home and will give their leaves a wipe soon too. I want those dusting gloves I’ve seen people use before. Do you love yours if you have them? Hubs says no more plants for a while and he’s prob right 😅

Before spring, I decided to do some pruning and propagate a few of my plants. Inch pant, philodendron, aluminum plant, pothos, jade plant, transcendia, monstera, etc…

My pride and joy is also my most temperamental plant. A Bougainvillea I impulsively purchased at the grocery store one day, I knew nothing about it and what it needed. I credit it for inspiring me to become more educated and interested in getting plants to thrive. It was fully blooming when I went on vacation in March last year, and despite having a housesitter looking after the plants, when I came back it was dried out and every bloom fell 😭 It hasn’t reached the same level of blooming since, but it’s slowly making a comeback, and I am hopeful I will start to see some blooms next month! 🌸

My monstera deliciosa has an interesting history but today, January, she’s happily putting out a new leaf ❤️ and pregnant with another!

My mother of thousands plants are doing well. I’m not good with succulents. So, every day they live on is a blessing. 😅 I got them in September. The sun stress color has faded. The new babies very easily fall off. They grow easily considering their tiny size.
