Here’s what the lemons are looking like! Any tips would help!
My family is in the process of selling our house. In the meantime, the friend that introduced me to Planta volunteered to plant sit while we move. We got these update photos yesterday after he got them settled in to their temporary homes.
So six months into my plant journey, I’ve decided I’m ready to take The Next Step. Meet Fala and Psy, courtesy of Costco. They made it through shipping without even losing a petal! Thanks to another Planta member commenting on a post about orchids, I did some research and now know I have to repot them so their roots can get air and light. This is my mission for the weekend. I will post pictures of the results (even if I mess it up). All that aside, does anyone have any advice regarding misting orchids? I’ve heard both for and against. Where I live is typically very dry—although not right now, it’s hurricane season—so I tend to mist all my plants bed sunrise and at dusk. But I don’t know whether these guys will like it. Any advice will be much appreciated! 🙏🏼
My snake plant keeps having babies! Time to repot into a bigger pot😀
This is 8ish months in the life of a “Royal Flush” Pleiospilos nelii. The bloom was late in the year. It’s currently in a tough nubby state, as you can see. The decay is perfectly normal, which requires a Zen mindset ha.
My Calathea White Fusion a couple days after I received her! 😍 The purple undertones! I’m literally in love.
Custom order I did for a client! 😍
Just some pictures from my plant room
My first plant! Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine. (His name is Maui if you were wondering)
My first air plant!! I love her little holder!
my first monstera <3 what a journey, bought her from ikea. Randomly decided to put her into leca, of course lost some leaves during the transitioning. But take a look at those roots ! It took her 1 month to hit the water reservoir, I repotted her back into position so the roots won’t hit the water. I just wanted to show some appreciation to my monstera <3 she also has a baby who’s doing amazing as well !
Currently obsessed with this Alocasia 💚

Finished! I have a bromeliad and a type of ivy in the terrarium, along with a rock that I found in my yard. I may find some other things along the way.
