Lindsay in PA

We took a day trip to Jim Thorpe PA yesterday. There was a plant shop in the upstairs level of a building. I saw this little guy and I had never seen one before. Fittonia, also known as a nerve plant. Had to add it to my collection. It’s currently quarantined in my bathroom since she said they like humidity. Can get 3-6” tall and trail 12-18”. I love a trailing plant. I don’t name my plants, but if I did, this would be Jimmy.

Repotted two baby rubber plants from two separate pots. Few days in both are sprouting baby new leafs. Happy to see both are doing well. The ones in the back is taller and foliage are much bigger ( from a small single pot with restricted growing space) the ones at the front was from a pot that’s bigger, however, it’s mixed with other plants, but with more room to grow. The foliage is smaller and shaped broder. Very interesting find. Because when I got them. They were from the same nursery and from 4 cells pots. I planted two each in two pots with different conditions. Follow up: to better show the comparison of the two baby rubber plants. The two top darker leafs were from the smaller individual pot. The result of it is taller but bigger leaves. The bottom leafs were from a much bigger pot but mixed in with other plants. As you can see they are shorter, leafs are smaller but the foliage is wider. Oh and the taller ones have grown this pointy long stick… not sure what that is…. I shall google later .

Hello! I mostly wanted to show my cute little kitty pot, but also that I’m so pleased my pancake plant has new growth. It had some questionable leaves when I got it, but then I sun burnt some in the car on the trip home. 😢 After surgery these are the leaves I had left. The new couple leaves in the middle are great to see! This is my first pancake plant. I have done some google research, but any suggestions/advice are welcome.

Showing off my monkey mask. We had a rough start but since I've moved this plant it is flourishing 😍. I recently added some support so I can watch her grow taller. Let me see your Monkey Mask 😍

I have two Hoya Krimson Queens. This one has long vines and is called Unnie. She has come into her own the last two months with several vines of new growth showing white and pink colors. She was in bright shade getting morning and evening sun I brought her inside to avoid cold weather. I discovered a peduncle that was not there when I bought her! It was buried behind leaves! I’ve never had a hoya bloom. I only started buying them this summer. I’m not even sure if this peduncle is viable. 😭
