Eyelash Fern - Actiniopteris australis I have two Eyelash ferns in a terrarium. They did really well for about 1.5 months, sprouting tons of new fronds. However, in the past week, I’ve noticed a decrease in new fronds, some yellowing of leaves, and some leaves are starting to curl. Temperature is almost a near constant 70°F. Humidity is between 70-100% throughout the day. There is an automatic mister system that sprays twice a day for a few seconds to bump the humidity up. There is also a small fan that is on during the day to help prevent things from being stagnant. Grow light is on 13hrs per day, 100 lumens, light meters say it’s about “partial shade” levels. Any ideas on what I can do to improve or change? Is it getting too much water or not enough? I had read that yellowing leaves is typically a sign of overwatering but the curling leaves make me think under watering. I’ve been following Planta’s water schedule, which I think is once every 7 days or so. Planted in ABG mix with a drainage layer.

Hi friends, my asparagus fern is in a pot with no drainage, I usually water her every 3-6 days and 80% of the time the soil is completely dry when I water again. I figured because ferns soak up so much water a no drainage pot would be okay but she is starting to yellow in the middle of her foliage. Do we think not enough humidity? Watering issue? I also hear asparagus ferns grow into their pots really fast, she’s been in this for a year and half, maybe an up pot? All advice helps:))

Hi, Fern Friends! I’m looking for recommendations for keeping this heart fern thriving 💚 so far, she’s in a window with bright (fairly indirect) light and I’ve been misting her several times a day. I’m about one week in and it’s going well, but curious what I could do to make this plant the happiest!

Please help! I have this cotton candy fern, Ferb. Ferb isn’t doing so well. He seems to be drying out even though he has moist soil all the time, and I irregularly mist his fronds. Is it the humidity?, my room is typically 55-65%. Any help is welcome! 🌿🪴

My foxtail fern 🦊🌿 and Boston fern🇺🇸🌿. My Boston has lots of fronds that are half a meter long! I moved my foxtail to a sunnier spot in hopes for it to become more healthy looking and have more successful new growths that reach full size and not just die, also any tips to make it thrive would be helpful and much appreciated.

Help please. What kind of fern is this? I bought it a few weeks ago. It’s been sitting in a north facing window and the fronds seem to be getting “crispy.” I’ve cut off several of the completely dried fronds. I’ve been keeping it watered and misted, too. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. Would love the group’s opinions!

This is Topher. He was injured and hopefully will make a full recovery. I believe he is a cut leaf grape leaf fern. But He may be a rattlesnake leaf. Anyone have experience with either of these types of ferns?

Hello! Can someone help me identify this fern? It was labeled as a staghorn fern when I bought it, but no shield fronds and the leaves are very smooth and bright green. Planta says bird’s nest, but it is not very circular in its pattern. Thank you!
