look at her go. Did you know the stick thing in the middle of the flower is both male and female parts? In the first picture you can see the female secretions starting to form near the bottom where slowly one by one every little bump will go from female to male and then eventually die if not pollinated. Second pic is my newest biggest leaf that is not hardened off and last pic is my funny new flower. The other plant has one without the piece in the middle. She hasn't bloomed for so long she forgot what to do 😂😍

What might this spots be? Bought around April 20th, repotted to her new home April 27th, she’s been watered twice since purchase, the roots and plant overall looked fine when repotted. Facing east about a foot from the glass sliding door, vertical blinds open but in place. I removed this leaf about 3 days ago and today another one got one spot. And I think that’s it. Oh and the new spot is also around the middle of the leaf. Everything else seems fine.

Took this anthurium in to try to save it. It’s been indoors most its life, so I assumed I should put it outside to bring some life back, but sites online say both in and outside. Where do you find most success keeping anthuriums?

I have a potentially really silly question, because I may just be overthinking it. I got a few anthuriums to try my hand at coming in the mail. I have a mini greenhouse already that stays at 72°, 68-70% humidity. My ambient room is between 62°-78°, and 50-70% humidity. Would the ambient fluctuations be too much for anthuriums? The lows happen maybe two hours a day before leveling back out. Idk any advice is welcome because I feel like I’ve read so much now and I’m just overthinking. 🫠

Starting to experiment with tree fern, plus semi hydro, I’ve put my DP in semi hydro, as it was already in a semi hydro set up. And imma be putting my more finicky anthuriums in tree fern to see how they like it 🫶

Hello!! I just brought home a wishlist plant yesterday—anthurium pedatoradiatum. He is quite rootbound, and I’m wondering if I should let him acclimate to his new space before repotting, or if I can I go for it? I can feel the roots through the nursery pot, and see them putting little bulges in the plastic. Also, thoughts on putting him in semihydro? I’ve had great success with my veitchii in pon, but can’t find much info on the pedatoradiatum in pon. Thank youuuu!
