Can someone give me tips to regrow flowers on orchids

My uncle sent my spouse and I an orchid as a house warming gift. There’s a secret plastic pot inside the ceramic pot. The plastic does not have drainage, the ceramic does. How do I safely repot this guy? And care for it in general?

I am determined to be successful at growing my orchids. My flowers recently died. The leaves are looking wrinkly and not stiff like a typically healthy orchid. I was thinking they weren’t getting enough light so I moved them to a south facing window. Any suggestions? I do have them in orchid soil. Do I cut the stems all the way back? Help please? 🙏🏻

hi! long time fan of orchids, long time killer of them. after a while they just seem to lose their luster over something and peter out… any advice on keeping this one going? when to repot, etc.? misting her and watering her when advised by the app!

Three new blooms all opened today! The first is a Phal. Sweet Memory 'Liodoro' that I'm very excited for the fragrance of, and the other two are some of my favorite grocery store phals.

Only one bloom this year, but it’s so so fragrant at night. I think it needs a bit more light, and probably a repot. Had another direction of growth with a sheath but no buds emerged. I think I just need to provide a little different care for her to reach her full potential.

Vanda Ratchaburi Beauty Came home from work and found this lovely staring back at me. While I was admiring it, I was surprise by a slightly fruity smell, kinda reminiscent of grapefruit and blackberry. For the life of me, I didn’t remember it had any scent last time, but then again I’ve only had it for 10 months the or so. Then I realized I was smelling the wine I’ve been sipping on this evening. Maybe I’ve had enough for tonight. Maybe not 🍷🍷🍷

Is this a keiki? 😳 About a month ago, I noticed a new pair of leaves started growing in between the 2nd & 3rd leaves of my mom’s moth orchid instead of growing on top. If that wasn’t odd enough, they’re also growing in facing the opposite direction. I’ve never seen a keiki before, so I might just be being hopeful. I know the angles in the photos are confusing, but I tried my best. 😅

I bought this little hybrid because of the gorgeous foliage. The tag just says ‘tea cup super mini’ but searches show similarities to Sogo Gotris x Equalacea. One post on Reddit actually looking for an ID on a look alike turned out to be purchased from the same nursery, and theirs is fragrant, so here’s hoping… nothing yet. Anyone have something similar with a potentially more accurate ID?

Hello! New to plants entirely, zero clue what I’m doing. I recently repotted it a few months ago and I think it’s doing well? But looking at everyone else’s posts, she looks… different. I’m not finding anyone who has orchids with leaves are so long or tall. I’m not sure the breed or orchid, so there’s that. Just purchased from the grocery when she was blooming 7-9 months ago. Does she look ok? Or should I be worried? Thanks in advance!

Phalaenopsis Kaoda Twinkle “KD506” This one took its sweet time to bloom. The color is a super dark burgundy on the face, with green stripes on the back. The while lip pops against the dark petals and sepals. Totally worth the wait.

My orchid had all its blooms fall off about two months ago, and it’s just the nodes now. How do I know it’s still a healthy plant if there are not flowers? Should I just move it to the graveyard?

Repotted this overwatered orchid that was super discounted at the grocery store a little while ago. It seems to be a lot happier in the orchid bark and I’m really surprised that this last bloom is still hanging on. Does anyone have tips or advice for what to do when your orchid goes into dormancy? I’m new to taking care of them :)
