I am new to orchids as I always thought they where so hard to care for anyways I have a beautiful white/green one that has flowered lovely but as of the past few days all her flowers have been falling off but her roots are still nice and green is this normal for the plant to do or is their anything I need to change :)

Hi plant friends. My Maudiae paph has dropped its bloom but the flower stalk is still ridged. It was in bloom since mid-June! Should I cut the stalk or wait for it to dry up? Thereās a couple of new fans growing. Should I unpot the plant to check roots or leave it alone? I potted it in new orchid bark mix in mid-April. Thanks for your advice and input.

Hi....I know very little about orchids. I was gifted this in early June...cut the bloom stalk off when the flowers died. This leaf (just this one of the 8 or 10 leaves it has) has these white spots and something on the tip. It was never been in direct light so I know it isn't sun burn. Fungal? Help pls.

Iām a little worried about my girl here š I had to repot her recently and I thought she was thriving for a bit, but then her flowers started wilting maybe 3 days ago. I canāt place her outside unfortunately because I live in a college dorm, but if anyone could give me tips, that would be greatly appreciated!

Welp, guys, I did a thing. š¬ Iāve always said that I would never try to grow mounted orchids because I know that my lifestyle would prevent me from watering properly. But Iāve been eyeing this Chiloschista Usneoides for over a year, and I couldnāt resist any longer. Otherwise known as āthe leafless orchid,ā it just seemed too cool to pass up. This particular one has tiny little leaves, but clearly photosynthesizes more through the vast root system. Iāll put a picture of what the flowers are supposed to look like in the comments. Theyāre just so tiny and sweet, and Iāve read that they smell wonderfully.

Can A Vanda Orchid be saved if the stems are yellow?? Was growing them in my bathroom with a grow light. Water them when moss is dry. My first Vandas. Sorry, it got dark outside fast. Wii post better pic.

I bought a grocery store orchid, itās starting to drop its flowers. Should I wait for all the flowers to drop before I repot it? Or is it telling me itās in shock so I can go ahead and do it now?

I just thought of something, do orchids have fruit?? They have flowers so it wouldn't be strange to think they did, but I've never seen orchid fruit. If yours has given any, show a pic!
