Can someone help me please. My orchid not only bloomed beautiful purple flowers again for the first time, but another spike grew on the other side and is also blooming. The problem is that today the spike with the flowers broke in half and i’m not sure what to do with it. All of the flowers are still attached to the broken spike. What can i do with it? Will they die? I hope not 😒. Is it ok to put the broken spike in water for now until roots coms out or should I plant it in a pot? I think the flowers got to heavy for the long spoke. You can actually see on the third picture where it broke. This makes me sad, because I really took extra care to see it bloom again and now this. Please help. I thank you in advance.

My Bella was doing great but all of a sudden she is dying I believe. I don’t think I’m under or overwatering. Any suggestions?
Hi, does anyone recognise this problem. I water weekly, let it sit in water for 15 minutes then I tip it out as pot doesn’t have any drainage holes. Admittedly the plants probably don’t like to be tipped upside down unless I repot which I’m reluctant to do. Appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
Hi friends. Do these leaves look yellow to you? I’m wondering if the cymbidiums need fertilizer or getting too much light. They’re under grow lights right now but I plan to take them outside when the weather starts to warm more. Bulbs are firm. They are not blooming this year because they are still recovering from very bad root rot last year (from being left outside in the cold winter rain).
Hello! I need help in regards to my orchids, I have two phalaenopsis orchids, a mini one and a big one, I’ve had orchid troubles in the past and this time I’m fully determined to at least get one of them to bloom again. It’s my first time with a mini orchid and it finished flowering but I’ve had trouble with watering both, I switched to orchid bark and I’ve noticed some of the roots shriveling up quicker than I am used to, I last watered my mini orchid 3 days ago and checked today and noticed a few shriveled up roots I added some spagnum moss with my bark in hopes to keep my roots hydrated without overwatering I also placed it over a pebble bowl with water for humidity 😭 I don’t know what else to do is there anything I am missing?
Anyone have a reed orchid to show? I’m so excited for the future of my new one! Just a wee baby right now who just went through shipping with questionable packaging but she has big hopes and dreams ✨
Is this what I think it is??? Is my baby finally starting to grow a spike?? I just want to confirm before I start celebrating too early!
Second blooming for this lovely orchid. Last year it only had 2 blooms, this year I got 4. She’s thirsty and sort of sprawling in her growth pattern, so she’ll need a repot shortly.
We’re almost at full bloom!
My plants are brown, one is growing a new shoot and I give them fertilizer, is there any tips to help them bloom?
Look at my little orchid! I have had her for a year and this is her 3rd set of blooms! I started growing her hydroponically a month ago. Do you have any tips for growing an orchid hydroponically?
They make me so happy 🤗
Help! What is this? I found two of these places at the bottom of my baby that almost look like something is eating it. Then I’m seeing black spots on the leaves that look like burn marks.
I’ve had this orchid since last march. After it bloomed I trimmed down the stem. I noticed what I thought was a Kiki about a month ago. Today I saw this flower. Is this weird? Is it a true Kiki? None of my other “Kiki’s have any roots just like this one. Can anyone tell me what is going on?? Thanks!!
Non Orchid Mommy here. This was gifted to me in June. If there isn't a bloom stalk by now, does that mean it is too late for this season?
I’m trying not to have to buy a special fertilizer for every freaking houseplant I own. So I have two: a 5-1-1 fish emulsion fertilizer and a 0.5-1-0.5 African violet fertilizer. For the orchids, I kind of alternate between them, and dilute them both quite a bit. Any thoughts on this regime?
What is this? This is my orchid plant. It’s not had a stalk in over 2 years. I’m not certain if this is one growing or just a root growing in a weird place. I changed up how I was fertilizing her so I’m wondering if maybe it’s working? She’s been in a kokodama for about 3 months now.
First picture is a year and a half ago second picture is now my orchids have got to be easiest plant I've ever had 🤯🌸 literally has had a ton of blooms the entire time.. Don't they go dormant?🧐🩷
Why does my orchids leaf look like this? Please help me. I have my orchid in water and in indirect light.
