I have not been on Planta in a while so hereâs an update on my Litghop! They are doing good havenât really grown that much but they did shed a couple months ago! Idk if thatâs good I am assuming it is correct me if I am wrong! :)

Iâve my lithop for a bit over a month, I repotted it and gave it just a little water. Itâs on a south facing windowsill. Like two weeks it started to wrinkle so I watered it a normal amount. Now thereâs green spots on it does anyone know what these spots are? Also does it look like itâs dying or splitting? The dead thing in the middle was there when I bought it.

I got this butt plant with my friend a few months back. Hers has since died, but mine has lived with the help of a watering schedule. It recently grew a new butt, but the old butt is looking wrinkly and is a little squishy. Does it need water or did it get too much water?

whatâs wrong with my split rock plant? i got it from a home depot ~2 weeks ago and it was doing fine, but now thereâs white spots at the bottom and the leaves(?) feel mushy. iâve only watered twice since getting it and one was today so i doubt thatâs the issue, but could be. the nursery pot has drainage and im not giving much water each time, just until water comes out the drainage holes. any tips appreciated !!!

I finally got my first lithops and I'm in love; any recommendations to what kinds to get as I'm a beginner and only can do gardening indoor as I'm disabled but have window sunlight all day and a safe cornor for dark spot so I can put them anywhere needed be to grow happily.

My lithops is splitting, I think sheâs a bit late to this party, but Iâm very excited about it! đ I have had a really hard time finding information on this plant online. Any information I find is pretty much invalidated in the next source. So, if anyone knows any of the following I would be very grateful! - about how long do they take to split? At what point should I be worried she is stuck? - after she is finished splitting and the old leaves are all shriveled; should I water her right away or wait till she wrinkles? - how long does the dead flower stick around? Should I try to get it off? - I have found several references to not watering when the plant is splitting or dormant. How am I to tell when itâs dormant? - some places say not to water when flowering and others say to water as normal. Should I withhold water when/if she flowers?

What happens when you clip the rot and gross off the bottom of a Lithops? Itâs dead, right? Iâm speculating YES, but Iâve seen some bonkers plant stuff this year. Letâs see if I can pull some magic out of this. Featured in the pics are the others I saved from this batch - a recent purchase. Some had zero roots, but I let them (the roots) all dry out after a soak of super soap and light scrubbing. đ€

How often do Lithops split? One place said once a year. Somewhere else said 4-5 years but also mentioned flowering. Is splitting and flowering the same thing?

I was gifted with lithops a year ago. I love them. The largest one split so I didnât water it since that started. I realize that I should have targeted some water at the other two smaller ones- they died off. My question now is when do I water the new leaves? How long do I leave the mama plant intact- itâs getting very shriveled? Pic one is a year ago. Pic two is this morning. Appreciate any help!
