Help! I am a newbie plant parent (my first plant isnāt even a month old) but Iām already hooked. Iām thinking about planting a window box with flower seeds to grow on my patio, but Iāve never grown flowers from seed before. I like the idea of bluebonnets (my partner is from Texas). Any suggestions or tips for successfully growing bluebonnets from seed in zone 7?

I may have just wasted $10, but I couldnāt let this go and not try to save it. I rescued this mini monstera from Walmart. Sheās rough. My theory is that wherever she was stored wasnāt climate controlled because we just had a massive cold snap in MN. So, I speculate (and I definitely could be wrong - please let me know if I am!) that she has cold burn and those leaves wonāt recover. I am interested in propagating the healthy-ish leaves and starting over because I fear sheās just too far gone. Should I propagate and start over? Where do I cut if I do?
Some of pothos cuttings have new growth points but no root growth ?? What to do with these ?
So even though Iām pretty good with plants I apparently suck at growing corms they keep rotting on me . What are your best tips for me ? I read up on it before I tried & it seemed so easy one site said they were hard to rot but somehow I keep doing it no matter the method . Ty
Are these healthy plant roots I am very worried rn I just checked on them bc there was rot on the Pothos that was in there with it and I just replaced all the water and stuff earlier this week added indoor fertilizer and powder hormone with some aloe as well now Iām scared again
Experimenting here!
I am trying to propagate a Chinese Evergreen, called Etta Rose, or scientifically speaking, I think itās an Aglaonema commutation. I found this in my doctorās office and they were going to get rid of it the next day so I just lopped off a 𦷠no apparent nodes are doing nothing but staying alive with their pretty leaves. The other cutting has a bit of a stem with the leaf attached to it and I think thereās a node above it. Right below that stem there appears to be a little teeny white root poking out of the stem (see picture). I have absolutely no idea what Iām doing. I have rooted philodendrons successfully for years, but this is different, I think. HELP! In the water I have put a drop of organic fertilizer and a drop of something called Fish Guts which is supposed to help rooting. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I would be happier than a pig in doodoo if I could get a plant out of this. She is so pretty. THX in advance.šŖ“šŗšŖ“
When you put all the props together for bath day š§½š¦

Opinions on changing the water of your props?
hey yāall. my sister just got this propohsgion. when should she put it into soil or should she leave it in the water till more roots develop?
Does this look calloused enough to propagate in water?

I would like to prologare this string of buttons, how would I do that? Im planning to move all these plants into their own individual pots here soon, but with how tall this string of buttons is Iād also like to propagate it to have more stems. Itās already growing two new stems at the base on its own, but the main stem is so tall and im hoping I can use propping it to also even put the heights a little.
Itās not quite a seed but i plopped some of my alocasia baroque sword corms into some stratum from a take out container š«¶š¼āØ thereās a small bit of water and iām keeping it under a grow light. any advice? thank you š«¶š¼
This snake plant has roots so what would be the best way to propagate it? Should I still cut it in a v shape or clean up the roots and stick it in water?
Question ā what is the best light for propagating plants? Does it depend on the plant, or the propagation method? Iāve seen some sources say to give it as much light as possible, some say keep it in a shady corner. I have a few plants propagating right now ā a peperomia hope (in water), a couple of pothos varieties (in water), jade (in soil), tradescantia (in sphagnum moss). Iām fairly new to propagating and still experimenting with different methods, but I want to give them all the best shot at success!
Hello everyone Iām very new to plants I was gifted a monstera but it had rotting and was told to propagate I āthoughtā I let it dry for 12 hours or so not sure where to go from here :( any help would be great!š¤
Starting some new seeds today! Hoping it is successful this year. š±
Iām propagating jade plants and have repotted them to a larger shallow pot without drainage. Itās been a few months and they havenāt died but they havenāt rooted either and they constantly look dehydrated. What do I do? ā¹ļøā¹ļø
