I do the same but I also use a seedling heat mat when growing my Alocasia corms. They love the small amt of heat.

0 LikesNo, I wouldn’t. Using a heat mat is just an extra step u could use to be successful. You should be fine as long as you give them enough light. I planted a few in stratum recently. Great medium to use for corms. I’ll post a few pics. So fun to watch them grow!

0 LikesI agree that Alocasias need heat to incentivize growth. My alocasia silver dragon corms didnt start sprouting/growing faster until I moved them into a greenhouse cabinet. I have them in sphagnum moss though.
