Here is my beautiful philodendron moonlight. It seems to have two areas where new leaves are coming from and I have never heard of that for this type of plant and canât find resourceful media for my dilemma! Does anyone have any advice on if it would be safe to separate them in a repotting?
I never have any luck propagating succulents, no matter what I try they just get mushy, shrivel, and turn black. Is it possible to use rooting hormone on succulents? Any advice on what I may be doing wrong is appreciated.
Happy to see so many roots and flowers in my propagation basil!
I accidentally snapped some small buds when planting my rose into the ground so Iâm trying to propagate them. On Reddit it seems doable but tricky. Anyone has done it before and has tips?

I want to propagate my ZZ but donât see nodes. Can I cut this new growth where my finger is pointing and put in water to propagate? In the second picture is the bottom of a ZZ Iâve had in water for weeks. Did I not cut it right?
How do you propogate string plants? I have a string of dolphins and string of bananas Iâd like to prop but donât understand where nodes are. Iâd like to do this in water unless another way is more viable! Thanks

I received my monstera albo cutting in the mail today. đ„Č It had root rot, and it extends to the other side of the node. The leaf and stems look okay. I used sterilized clippers to trim the rot and I placed it back in water, I salvaged the node but not the root. Is this my best shot? Any tips at all???
Hey! Wanted opinions on what works better for ficus tineke propagation for some stem cuts. Water or soil? Keep it in window indirect light or less light, grow light? I havenât had too much luck in soil with this plant but if anyone has a recommendation it would be much appreciated.
Did I propagate this prayer plant correctly? It was getting too long and this piece was breaking in half, so I thought if I cut it and placed it in water until it grew roots, it would be better off to replant.
First new leaf coming up from my syngonium cutting đ not sure what variety she is but dang is she pretty!!! đ€©
First propagation Iâve done under a growlight â I put it through hell đ . The earliest photo was during December as it struggled to grow by a chilly windowsill. And its bright red phase was when I was unwittingly scorching the leaves by hanging the growlight too close. 6 months in, I think Iâve finally found a sweet spot.
Please help my plant! I was given this crown of thorns stem cutting from my aunt, a beautiful little piece with flowers. Now the flowers are wilted and leaves arenât doing well. I think I did the mistake of placing the cutting in a jar of water to grow roots, but learned they donât really like water so planted it in succulent/cactus soil. But so far hasnât sprung back up. Any advice or suggestions to get this plant to regain its vibrancy?
Can anyone confirm if this is root rot? Itâs a jade and a Purple Heart. Theres no roots forming yet, but I donât know if the browning at the end is part of the process and will prevent roots from growing? Iâm just learning how to do this and got some stem cuttings from my aunt to start my own plant journey. Theyâve been in a jar of water for about a week and a half. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
What should I do with all these pups? Let them keep growing here or prop? If prop, how do I do that? She bloomed last year and her leaves have been dying little by little so I peel them off.
